I used it twice in combination with my ARB awning and slept in it one night with wind gusts and rain. To set up the awning you need two people, but this tent you can do alone. Its an easy slide-in at the car side, as well at the outside, and clip on on the two other sides. If you hate setting up a normal tent, you will love setting up this product. The light strip is just an easy connection with your car 12V cigarette plug, or with a portable battery. The cable that comes with it is long enough. The space inside is great. I am 6ft2 and cannot look over the roof of my SUV, which means I can stand up straight in this tent. And 3x me could lie in it on a mattress. During day time you can zip open all sides and you will be protected by mosquito nets. At night you can leave some open to get air in or close it all off and be perfectly protected against the elements. I had big wind gusts in North Texas with rain, and the tent kept up and everything on the inside was dry next morning. You need to be aware that due to the square shape and due to different car sizes it is mounted to, the set-up is not necessarily as tight as with a normal tent, also not when using the tent pegs and guy lines. This results in more flapping noise from the sides than you would have with a normal tent, especially with wind gusts. That is the only disadvantage I could think of sofar.

This is a great must have accessory to the ARB Awning, have used it for camping a few times, has held up well, good quality material, zippers and seams are tight, expect it to last a long time.

I took our ARB awning and awning room on its maiden voyage this past weekend. Took my son on a mother/child campout where we would be tent camping for two nights and they let me use my new tent. I wanted to give it a go for a trial run, before we went off on a big camping trip. I was very impressed with the quality and quick setup of this tent with the help of two rowdy boys. I bought a patio rug to lay down on the floor, worked perfect! We only used one cot, but there is definitely room for two. Would easily sleep four people. The mosquitos were horrible this weekend and the mesh did an awesome job keeping the bugs out. This is exactly why we bought this tent. We did have to sleep with the outer windows open because it was still pretty warm in LA for camping. But I do believe it would hold in the heat during the winter months with or without a heater. It held up great in the wind after staking it down. I was actually worried it was going to launch a few times, but it took the wind like a champ. We thought that it was going to rain, part of me wanted to see how the windows would hold up in the rain. It sure would've got hot quick if we had to zip up the outside windows. I'm worried about water coming down the space between the Jeep and the awning. But it never rained, so didn't have the chance to test it out. Thinking I will have to bring a tarp to throw over that space in case of storms. Overall, I was very impressed and so were the other parents! I can't wait to take it on our next adventure!

This is a great awning tent/room. Comes with everything needs to secure tent. Great addition to my van for camping. Gives privacy when zipped up. Allow a good breeze when using the screens. Screens keeps bugs out. Adds a nice room to change in, or add few extra beds for friends. Thanks

Great addition to our ARB awning. I wish the zippers were designed differently. There is always a space that will not close towards the bottom when completely zippered. Great for shade. Have used for dog room, changing room, bathroom room and camping area.

Purchased the ARB awning about 6 years ago for use on road trips and back country off road camping. The awning is awesome, not one time have we had an issue with it. We knew we wanted the awning room but thought we’d wait. 6 years later, we just purchased the awning room and used it in the beach Christmas Eve, used it again New Year’s Eve up country. Absolutely fantastic. Had the dogs sleeping in there with us, just used the 8” memory foam mattress that we have for sleeping in the 4 runner. The zippers are high quality and match up at the corners very well. The canvas is thick and durable. Screen is quality and sewn well. The floor basin is durable and water proof. Setup is so simple, it’s kinda ridiculous. The outer wall, the one the parallel to the side of the car....doubles as a shade tarp and already has grommets in the corners. I’m super happy with this purchase and disappointed that I waited so long. If you have the ARB awning, get the room too; you will not regret it. Bomber.

Excellent addition to your ARB awning. Solid construction and improved design over the old model. It now has large entry/exits on all four sides. Open the room completely. Or just have the fly screens in place to protect from the bugs while you have full access to your vehicle via the large rear opening. Plastic hooks for mounting to the awning legs, guy lines to tie it down and sturdy inserts for the front and rear awing plates mean this thing is very stable. It comes with a set of stakes for extra security. And it is easy to unpack or take down for storage in a tough ARB labeled bag. I can see this being useful for cooking in, sleeping in or just a place to sit quietly out of the weather. The only thing I can't comment on is long term durability. Initial impressions are that it is very robust.

The awning room is a decent addition to the ARB 2500x2500mm awning we have on our small trailer. It fits well and should protect us from the elements and to a lesser extent, insects. Construction of the room is good, with no apparent defects in the fabric or stitching. The polyethylene floor is quite thick and should hold up to a fair bit of use. I'm not entirely sure if instructions should have been included with the room but my package had none. That said, the box had considerable damage and the paperwork may have been lost. Not during transit mind you, the ARB box was damaged, not the Amazon box which covered it so the damage was done before it was shipped to us. Even without instructions, setup is pretty straight forward. Attach the room to the awning frame, then clip out the top of the sides, zip up the top of the end, then clip the corners to the awning legs and peg it out. My biggest issue with the room is that they've installed a zippered attachment for securing one end of room to the awning frame but the other end has to be slid in and out of the awning mount each time it is used. This effectively makes mounting the room to the awning a two person job and certainly increases the setup time. A second issue is that I have an awning with the integrated LED lighting which is now obscured by the awning room. A simple mesh or clear vinyl sleeve on the roof of the room would have mitigated this. Lastly, the included pegs are sturdy but a just simple wire pegs. I'll be replacing them with something that has more holding power (such as the MSR Cyclone 10" stakes).

جدا جميله ليست مزعجه مع الهواء تركيبها سهل جدا عليك فقط حفظ طريقة الترتيب لارجاعها في الحقيبه لا تحتاج الى اناره اذا المظله فيها اناره فهي كافيه جدا دخول اشعت الشمس في النهار مقبول فعاله جدا ضد الذباب و الناموس
