Professional quality and very comfortable
I’m very satisfied with this shampoo backwash chair. The design looks professional and modern, and it feels sturdy and well built. The chair is comfortable for clients and provides good support, especially around the neck area. The sink is easy to clean and the materials seem durable and high quality. Installation was straightforward and everything arrived well packaged. It’s a great addition to any salon or barbershop and definitely worth the investment.

⸻ The Ainfox shampoo chair is comfortable, sturdy, and features a classic design. The wide shampoo bowl makes washing easy, and the padded, reclined seat provides good client comfort. A solid choice for salons at a great value.

Modified to upgrade the way I like it.
This is fine for those who want the basics and have a floor drain I suppose. I just used the stand, seats and sink and half the accessories then bought a nicer kitchen faucet with spray attachment and made a stand to raise it up so that I could run a long PVC through a cabinet to connect to the sink drain on the opposite end of the cabinet. The Chair sits so low to the ground. I made up a long PVC drain line through the cabinet to the second sink drain in the cabinet. The bolts for the sink were too short. They were flush and it made it hard to thread the bolt for the sink down. Instead, I sent for some M6 Barrel Nuts from a furniture bolt and barrel nut set off of Amazon. I threw away most of the sink hardware. To connect this as a second drain to the sink in my lab I had to run an 8 foot 1-1/2" PVC through the counter out the opposite end to reach the sink mounted in the cabinet. I bought a dual sink drain kit from Amazon. Hard to find the necessary adapters to mate a 1-1/2" sink drain to a long 1-1/2" PVC pipe. I used two 1-1/2 x 1-1/4 rubber flange reducers that came with hose clamps from Lowes already installed on them. The 1-1/4 PVC end fits over the 1-1/2" drainpipe end, but the 1-1/4" adapter end is a little large for inserting in the 1-1/2" sink drain so I wrapped the sink drainpipes with rubber electrical tape to fill the gap around the pipe making it tight before inserting it into the 1-1/4 reducer, and then I clamped it down tight with the hose clamp. I hope it all works when done. Not finished yet. Stil have to cut holes for all of this. I have a right-angle drain coming out the side of by the shampoo holder from the sink in the unit. I still have to cut a hole on the side to run this out just above the shampoo holder on the left side. Anyway, major project. The basic assembly is simple. I just did it my way because I wanted a good connection to water and the drain and as well, better hardware and a seat sitting higher in order to connect to the drain line. This has to be level or running downhill and out of the building. Oh well. Just sharing.

Works great
This shampoo bowl is sturdy and comfortable to use. It's such a pleasant pick for your salon space. It does take a little extra time to install, so I'd like to remind you to make sure to tighten all the fittings really securely. If you're working with a limited budget and have been wanting to upgrade your salon, this is really such a great, cost - effective purchase.

Plumbing
The chair itself is awesome! However the plumbing is awful . It is for washing so why in the world would it come with clip together pipes is beyond me because the water just leaks when it’s draining and one of the hoses is broken above the screw so the water shoots out the top . The plumbing materials for this should’ve been way more efficient and dependable especially for the amount of money .

Get what you pay for
I will do my best to be as fair as possible in this review. I traveled 15 hours one way to help my daughter setup her first salon so I needed things to work right the first time so I could move on to other tasks. First impressions were that the chair part is heavy, solid and well built however the hardware seems cheap and of poor quality. The instruction sheet needs help also. We started putting it together and found the side arms needed to be pulled in with a moderate amount of force to attach to the side, you will need 2 people for this and one needs some upper body strength. In the end I have no serious complaints about the chair part. Plumbing is a different story. I installed the plumbing per the instructions however 1 hose would not thread onto the back flow preventer. I reached out to Anifox however I think there customer support is off shore and because of the time difference it will take 8 - 12 hours to get a reply. While waiting for CS to answer I visited 2 hardware stores and a plumbing supply store to try and find parts locally however nobody could match the hose. The plumbing supply suggested going to a beauty supply shop down the street. The beauty supply had a hose that would thread onto the back flow preventer but needed an adapter to fit onto the hot / cold water control valve. I asked if they sold the whole plumbing kit and they did so I bought it ($140) Back at the salon the new plumbing is installed and works GREAT but in short order a leak developed in the drain hose assembly that came with the chair. I determined the problem was that the drain hose was cheaply made and would not tighten up on the drain of the sink. Every time it got snug the threads would skip. So a trip back to the beauty supply shop for a drain hose ($10.00) back to the salon this hose tightens up and now all is well. It took two days and $150.00 to get this thing working properly, it should have taken half a day and no extra money. At some point CS responded that they would send another hose but since I had already bought the kit they would reimburse us $10.00 if I sent them the invoice. My response was I had to spend money for a new drain hose as well and felt as if they should refund the purchase price for all the trouble or at least reimburse us for the money spent to make the chair work. There response was they would give us a complete refund of the purchase price and pay for shipping if we would return the chair. I wonder what part of the chair is now working they didn't understand? I take no pleasure in writing a negative review and would prefer that everything worked as designed. I feel as if it all comes down to poor quality control and everybody considering the purchase of this chair should carefully consider there options.
