Beautiful rich color!
I can't get enough of the Brea Reese products! This color with the glitter is so beautiful when it dries. I've already used the entire bottle and can't wait to order more. It is perfect for watercolor, added touches to marker products, wherever I can find a reason to use it!

Reacts Differently. Try them out before Using
I bought these thinking they were alcohol inks. They are super glittery but react weirdly with different products so try them out before using in a piece you like.

I would buy again
I love this ink. Be careful with cap, they may leak if not on perfectly . I have several inks from this brand and have been happy with all of them.

LOVE THESE!
I have all the colors from both these and the watercolor inks and love them both. If you've ever used wink of Stella or spectrum sparkle it's the same type of extra fine shimmery glitter in an ink carrier. Like those the glitters they tends to spread and fall off the same as well but this is the nature of this product. If you've never used either of those other glitters it's basically that the glitter does travel it's not something that prevents me from using it as in in isn't necessarily messy just that if I want one area with glitter but not another this could be an issue. However the majority of the glitter stays on the spot I've put it down on. I've used them in many ways in coloring and mixed media work. They can be diluted with water nicely. I've put a few in aqua brushes for ease of use but also use regular paint brushes, sponges and blending tools. They blend nicely with glycerin. I've used them on top of alcohol inks and mixed with watercolor too. The colors are the same in the Brea Reese glitter inks as in the watercolor inks by Brea Reese so if you're looking for these colors without glitter you might try those. I do like to have both sets as I can dilute the amount of glitter with the regular inks sometimes. My only complaint is that the reds aren't really red enough more shades of magenta and they really need a black and a white ink for color mixing. A clear or iridescence would be lovely too.

These are lovely and sparkly...they’re also four bucks in the real world.

These inks changed my mind
I never liked water color when I was in high school. I liked oil painting and drawing. These inks are amazing, easy to use, mix, and used along side their water based markers...have me hooked. Now I just have to get better using them lol

These inks are amazing! They are smooth. The glitter inks are incredibly glittery!

I use these every day!
I love all these Brea Reese inks, especially the glitter inks. I seldom use them as straight inks, however; I generally mix them with other media to use them as translucent paint. The consistency of these inks is watery, which is easier to use than something thicker. The intensity of color is VERY strong. The violet is quite dark, nearly black. The hue is perfect, though, not too blue nor too red.The glitter inks must be shaken frequently to keep the glitter incorporated. The inks stain the hands, yet somehow not paper so much, so be prepared to use an aerosol fixative after your ink has dried completely.I wish the inks were more widely available, and cheaper, but they really do add a beautiful dimensionality to my paintings. The glitter is very very fine, not at all gaudy, maybe twinkly. I wish I had had these 50 years ago, when I was beginning calligraphy!
