Easton Industrial Wall Clock, Brown

This clock looks awesome. It's *huge* and looks really badass on the wall in my bedroom. The coloring and painting looks killer, and the metal turbine design is striking and awesome. The hands are big and clear, and overall it's a really funky and cool clock.However, it has some problems. First, the packaging it came in was totally inadequate so the round outside ended up with a whole bunch of dents, and the weld on one of the fan blades had completely broken in the middle. I was able to bend most of the dents back out so it looks okay now, and the blade ends up resting on the broken weld firmly, so even though it's still broken it actually holds place fine and looks perfect. So, it worked out ok in the end but for the price paid it's a bit disappointing for it to have come broken and dented.Also, the hands are clearly too big for the clock mechanism to handle. It's holding time now, but it required some pretty creative bending and adjusting to get the hands to line up properly, and also not to end up locking up on each other when they crossed. I wouldn't suggest using this clock anywhere windy or subject to a lot of vibration, because I think the hands could easily get bumped around and end up getting screwed up again.Anyway, the end result is that it's an imperfect clock.. it works okay, it's not very durable, but it looks *so* good. If you want a big, unique, and badass looking clock this is an extremely good choice, and I highly recommend it, but just be aware that you may need to fiddle with it a bit.
