Broke within a year. Cheap plastic piece of junk.

I bought this vacuum several months ago-Nov 23 to be exact. I was really pleased initially but only a couple months in the vacuum started shutting off and starting intermittently. It began doing it more and more. We contacted Dyson as it states that the vacuum comes with a warranty. We called Dyson directly today and they informed us that because we purchased it from an Amazon seller that the warranty is nullified. They told us that the vacuum must be replaced. My advice is DO NOT purchase from anyone other than the Dyson website directly. These machines are too expensive to replace.My suspicion is that the seller is purchasing vaccumes that don’t pass quality control from Dyson knowing full well that they will fail soon after purchase-and Dyson is happily selling them to this reseller knowing full well that they won’t honor the warranty. It’s a scam SO don’t fall for it!!I’d give negative 5 stars if I could!
