beautiful ending
What a great book to end this series. I love the way it was written and how we got a new perspective on falling in love. A truly wonderful story. The epilogues always end up being my favorite part, but that may be because I am also a mother.

so much mystery
It was such a great read. So much drama, mystery and love. But specially many laughs with Lucy “helping” Gregory. And honestly I really missed Hyacinth 🪻💕

Nice read!
I enjoyed the passionate love story of Lucy and Gregory Bridgerton, however, I would have preferred if the courting period would have been longer than just a week from the time they met. I felt as if the story had been rushed.I also would have liked that after the truth had been revealed about Lucy”s uncle as a traitor and blackmailer that the story would have developed more into the Bridgerton’s family dynamic in reaccepting Lucy into the family fold, especially Hyacinth who took the chance of getting them together in te first place.

Loved this, one of my top 5 of the series
Probably one of the shorter stories but I absolutely enjoyed this like all the others. I wish there were more siblings I hate being done haha

A fitting, over dramatic end to the core of this series. I know there are some prequels and sequels but I think I’m content with the stories I’ve read. Time to move on to another series, perhaps something more intense. 👀

A strong conclusion to the Bridgerton series!
Initially, I was nervous about reading this novel because it involves a love triangle. Reviewers on Goodreads saying this book should be skipped altogether also contributed to that nervousness. Determined to read the entire series, I read “On the Way to the Wedding” and found that I actually enjoyed this book more than some of the others in the series.I found Lucy’s character to be very relatable. She was very apologetic and worried more about her friend’s happiness than her own. In fact, she was under the impression that Hermione would be better off with Gregory Bridgerton. Even though she had developed feelings towards him, she still put Hermione first. I feel as though many readers including myself have been in this position before (prioritizing others before ourselves). Perhaps that is the reason why I like her character so much. She is flawed, which makes her all the more realistic.I quite enjoyed Lucy and Gregory’s romance, which communicates that love can be found in the most unexpected people. Gregory believed that Hermione was meant to be his perfect match. Because of this, he refused view Lucy as more than a friend. But the more he spent time with her to get insight on Hermione, the more he began to realize that Lucy was the one. By the time he came to this conclusion, Lucy stood at the alter, prepared to marry another. Gregory would not let her say “I do” without a fight. To all my Bridgerton readers, please do not skip this book. It is very much worth your while.Jess Approved?: ✓

why
So I loved this one so much, but I gave it a 4 because I wanted the author to revisit the concept that Daphne spoke of in Book 4 to Colin. That love is not always instant. That it grows until you finally know it’s love. I think since Colin received this advice from Daphne he could have done the same for Gregory.Like the moment in the ballroom it should’ve been him realizing that he loved her. And not in the same out of nowhere feeling he got with Hermione. Not sure I explained myself well.Hermione annoyed me to no end. I only liked her in that final chapter and barely cause she never really understood all the sacrifices Lucy had to endure just for being her friend. And then when she married her brother didn’t even try to understand Lucy feelings of abandonment.

An excellent ending
As I began to read the final story about the last of the Bridgerton children to find love, I must admit to pure curiosity: was Julia Quinn going to pull off telling the same story, yet again, but with a twist? Of entertaining us anew? All I shall say is, never fear, Gentle Readers. Gregory's story was well chosen as the last...

A perfect finale for the Bridgertons
Reading this book was not easy at the beginning, because realizing it would be the last one was... sad. I'd laughed, hoped, suffered and enjoyed myself immensely with this family and it was hard to say goodbye. But this story was simply the perfect way to finish. At first, it was so different from the others because Gregory falls in love with the wrong girl and it really seems all wrong. Even Lucy seems the wrong heroine, I preferred Hermione and her romantic personality, in the first half. Then something happens, something that chances everything and Lucy truly becomes someone whom you hope will find her happy ending. And of course Gregory. He's the most romantic and kind man in all the eight books, the character I adored in this because he made me suffer and cry quite a lot. The 'solution' at the end is more than deserved and I loved it. This is absolutely one of the best in the Bridgertons, I highly recommend it
