Biology: The Core (2nd Edition)

I love this style of textbook, and this one is well done. Fantastically organized, edited/condensed to the essentials (as the title suggests), clear, colorful graphics. I think this (or something similar) should be the textbook for high school biology classes. The core, the themes, the framework of a subject is what is important for young students- and this book captures that so well.

Easy to read, full of pictures, graphs, and diagrams.It felt more like a middle school or high school textbook than a college level book, but overall, it was a good source of information. I didn't use it for my course as much as I used my professor's lectures to study and learn with.

Even thought it’s just a rental, This book is disgusting, it has roach poo all over it.

This was decent used book, I brought it for $20, and pay additional online access for like $70, and it’s still less than buying a new one.
