This cable is often purchased with the Pine64 Pinecil soldering iron, since its color kind of matches the default powder blue silicone grip on that iron. Silicone-coated cables are generally more flexible and more temperature-resistant than PVC-coated ones. I don't know if the interior wires in this cable are likewise silicone-coated and I don't want to sacrifice mine to find out, but if they are this is ideal for the application. Even if it isn't heat-resistant, it looks like the right color and is very flexible, which is what I wanted. Power-wise, it's rated at 60w and my iron pulls 30w, so … good to go there. I haven't tried feeding 60w power through it yet because I haven't got a 60w charger yet.

A tactile delight, this is a soft flexible cable. The light blue colour is unique. Not rigid and not prone to tangling like all the other cheaper cables out there. Almost feels like it could be a genuine Apple product. Perfect for the Pinecil USB-C soldering iron. The 2m length means I’m not tethered so close to a powerpoint.

Perfect headphone cable as it's nice and soft / sleek. Yeah it only says 60w but I've used it to charge my MacBook at higher speeds without issue!

Bought this for use with a calibrated USB microphone. Taking measurement requires moving the mic frequently inside of a vehicle so the flexibility of the cable makes it easier. Also, the silicone jacket doesn't make any scratchy sounds when being dragged across interior panels or clothing unlike the fabric jacketed cables. Good value and would purchase again.
