Dentist said my 81 yr old gums looked better.
My dentist said my gums looked healthier on my last visit a few weeks ago.I'm 81 and try to keep gum health a priority on order to save my teeth. I enjoy the taste, which is mild.I brush my teeth before I shower , them I swish the pulling during my shower and while I get dressed. I read or heard it's ideal to swish 20 min. I dispose of the solution in a full trash bag to avoid a build up of oil in the drain.

I would give 20 stars if I could.
I have been using this almost everyday for a month now and my teeth look amazing. They are soooi much whiter and when I wake up my mouth just feels cleaner. I started at 5 minutes and worked my way up to 20 adding 5 minutes on every five or so days. I also use the tea tree mouth wash before using this and their tea tree whitening tooth paste. Amazing brand! Worth every penny!

Taste good not bad
I like this because it doesn't taste bad. But it quite expensive at least for me. So it depends on my budget.

Too watery
This solution is good in theory but the mixture, even when shaken for 10-15 seconds, doesn’t really come together long enough to pour it into your mouth. It feels like I’m swishing a lightly mint flavored mouthwash that has a couple drops of oil in it. I’m returning. It just doesn’t even feel like oil pulling.

Great product
This is good for alleviating dry throat or mouth plus has the added benefit of teeth whitening.

Coconut pulling mouthwash
Flavor is not over powering. Leaves breath smelling of light mint. I have found it aids my brushing regimen to keep plaque at bay. Getting better reports on dental visits. Teeth seem whiter and do feel cleaner. Took a little bit to get used to keeping the pulling oil in mouth for over a minute and swishing. But built up slowly. Also noticing less sinus problems since I began using

Weird concept and taste
I generally love Desert Essence products but this is a swing and a miss. The point of oil pulling is to use specific oils to swish through your mouth to cleanse it of impurities. It is a very simple process that should be easy to do and the taste should be mostly neutral. However, Desert Essence has really spun this concept into something that, for me, is just not worth it even at such a great price. It seems to me that they are trying to create a mouthwash/oil pulling hybrid rather than a product just for oil pulling. It has a double layer of oils that has to be shaken vigorously and poured immediately before the oils separate again. Once the oils are in my mouth, there is a very unpleasant taste to it that is sweet yet biting and bitter. I think it's a combination of xylitol and flavorings (mint and tea tree) that makes it so repulsive to me. YMMV.I will go back to my Banyan Botanicals Daily Swish. It's well worth a few dollars more.
