Easy to play, hard to clean.
I keep losing track of mine, bought often. Miffed neighbors?

Beautiful harp
Great sound. Slide works smooth.

The most wonderfully rich tone
It does take a bit more breath than my Sydel or Suzuki but the tone is warm and soft and lovely. The wooden comb certainly contributes, but the overall design as well I suspect. It is light and warms up quickly. Nothing else like it.

I've owned one of these since the eighties.
I've owned one of these since the eighties. I t was great, and I loved itAsan untrained musician (vocalist), I often hads probems commubicating my musical ideas to others. This harp helped greatly in that respect. It has, however, greatly degraded over the years (warped comb, bad reeds, etc.) to the point of it being virtually unusable. I need to replace it, but the price is prohibitive for me. I'm a 66 year old disabled veteran on extremely meager income. I was shocked by today's price! When I bought mine circa 1987, from a music shop , it cost me $65.00. That price was dear to me then too, but I was working back then. I guess I'll have to go with one of the lesser brands, though I'd love to have the Hohner...
