Prior to this machine, I was using a manual press machine to make the holes, then thread a coil through. It was very time consuming, and after a day of doing this, my hands and wrist would hurt. I make manuals and books professionally so it was time to upgrade. I LOVE this machine, I can make big, and small books so fast and so uniform I could not be more happy with this machine.
