Best sunscreen we have ever used! Initially I found this product in a local gas station and then started ordering it on Amazon! It protects, smells nice, and doesn’t leave your hands or skin sticky! Good size product, lasts a long time!

My father and I share this Amazon account, and I was luckily able to purchase this before going to Rio. I have always been a Coppertone kid, but I've never found a sunscreen that always worked 100% of the time. I burn through sunscreen, windows, in any and all seasons of the year in Pennsylvania.. Basically, I was meant to be burnt to a crisp every summer- so naturally, I was somewhat dreading Rio. But this sunscreen, which apparently was harvested from God himself, was able to keep me 100% safe. I never had to use my umbrella to protect my stupid, fragile body from the sun and for the first time ever I was able to conquer what most Brazilians would consider to be tanning conditions. I was wary about trying a new sunscreen on such an important trip, but Australian Gold did not disappoint me in anyway. It also smells really good- my group members were asking who smelled so good rather frequently. Mainstream sunscreens normally smell kind of okay but with that crude touch of chemical in the back, but this sunscreen smells like a nice, light perfume. It spreads very well, so even though I was applying to my arms, legs, face, chest, and neck about 6 times per day, I haven't even used half of this bottle (plus people were also borrowing from me intermittently) In essence: This stuff is great. I will definitely be switching from Coppertone to Australian Gold after having such a great experience!

They say that the best sunscreen is the sunscreen that you will use, so for me that is what this is! I wish it were unscented, just because the scent is only ok to me, slightly tropical but also slightly plastic/fake smelling, and since scent can be sensitizing I could just do without it. But the formula is very good, it goes on so smoothly, feels moisturizing but not too greasy. I have been trying to find a mineral sunscreen that I like, but in the end they all either leave a white-cast or feel very dry/powdery on my skin so I don't enjoy using them. This is just easier for me to reapply and something that I will reapply to my hands and body throughout the day.

After hearing that suntan lotion that is above SPF 30 doesn't do much, I decided to take a closer look at SPF 30 lotions. Because of my very fair skin that is prone to burning (I just don't tan), I was spending lots of money on SPF 45, 65, even 85 thinking that I needed it. SPF lotion with that high of a number tend to go on thick like icing and don't smooth into my skin. Reading other reviews about Australian Gold and how it smelled great got my attention and I tried it out. I couldn't be happier that I did. The smell is delicious that I have to keep my boyfriend at bay so he doesn't start eating my arms and legs while we are on the beach. I've let many people use it and they all agree that it is a strong but not a deterring smell. I reapply every two hours and use generously. I've haven't been burned all season so far using this product and like I said, I don't tan I burn. I've ordered a couple more bottles of this just to get through the summer! I recommend it to anyone who will listen.

I really like this sunscreen. I feel like you do have to apply it more than the 80 minutes it implies it can be left on if you are actually getting in and out of water. If you are just sweating you should be fine. Also, for my fellow tan and brown people, it doesn't leave that ashy cast on the skin or look ghostly with makeup over it which is very nice,

We used to get this brand of sunblock at the beginning of the season for the beach I lifeguarded at. Loved the scent then and love it now, still the best smelling sunblock I’ve ever found and works well too.

Best sunscreen out there! I usually burn quite easily. I used to wear the banana boat sport sun screen anywhere from SPF 30 to 45, yet somehow I always got burnt. I'm usually pretty good about re-applying so I'm not sure if banana boat wears off faster but I've been using Australian Gold for the last 2 years and it protects better than any sun screen I've used so far. And the smell is absolutely awesome! I love it! Definitely adds that tropical, relaxing, beachy feel when you wear it! 2/15/16 I just wanted to add to this review that I just got back from 5 days in Mexico and I never got burnt. I only needed to reapply once per day and I'm not sure if I even needed to do that much, I just did because I'm used to reapplying with other brands. This sun screen is honestly the best out there! I would highly suggest this sun screen if you burn easily.

Once you discover the best, the rest is hard to use. We tried all of our friends since and are always oily, harder to put on and Australian gold always comes out smooth, non oily, and can put on face and don't feel dirty. It's the best smelling lotion on the planet so put it on often and never get burnt! It's the best!!

I have dry, sensitive skin and this is one of the only sun lotions that does not cause irritation. I was out in very intense sun whilst camping for a week and with two applications of this a day I didn't get burned at all (except once, but that was because I forgot to do my feet!) I really appreciate how quick drying it is, and it's not tacky on the skin like lots of other brands which means dirt/stuff doesn't stick to your skin outdoors constantly. I love the tropical scent; it reminds me of pineapples.

Anfangs war ich skeptisch. Erstens wegen dem Geruch vor allem jedoch wie sich die Lotion auf der Haut anfühlt. Der Geruch ist angenehm und nicht zu stark. Verliert sich etwas im Laufe des Tragens. Sie lässt sich gut auftragen, klebt nicht und ich habe endlich nicht das Gefühl eine dichte Schicht auf der Haut zu haben unter der man schwitzt. Ferner fühlt sich die Haut an als ob sie mit Feuchtigkeit gepflegt wird. Kurz bin angenehm überrascht und werde sie mir für unterwegs in eine kl. Tube umfüllen zum Auffrischen. Der Preis ist für mich okay.

It’s my fave! Smells so lovely and good protection. Just wish it was bigger/cheaper 😭 it doesn’t leave a white cast on you, actually I really feel glowy after applying it. I like that it resists under water. Does not transfer onto clothes like other sun creams have.
