RBCuZn-C X 1/8" X 36" X 1LB Tube Gas brazing Rod

Brazing can bring a euphoric and enraptured feeling of blissfulness, if your a mentally insane. Otherwise your just happy, you can join this piece to that piece. It works well, and the flux is already there. Good stuff.

we use these rods to braze on Hydraulic fittings and braze up steel AC lines. works well as long as the material is good an hot.

I have never been disappointed with any of the Blue Demon electrodes or brazing rods. Price is always good and quality is consistent.

I purchased some cheaper rods that didn’t hold up to their claims. Blue Demon on the other hand does hold up to the claims that they make and these rods are great to use. Highly recommend them.

Tube is made from what appears to be polystyrene, which is inexpensive but extremely brittle. Remember the old CD cases. The product I received did not have any padding in the outer shipping sleeve, as a result the entire bottom of the rod tube had shattered. There were also a few rods with flux that had flaked off the ends. Flux coated rods should be stored in a closed case to prevent absorption of moisture. Also the rods are only 18" as advertised, but the case is about 36". It would have been better to have an 18" long case. These area being returned for replacement. Hopefully the replacement fairs better.
