My family loves coleslaw. I’ve have a number of cabbage shredders but none will cut real fine strands of cabbage which I found improves the taste of the slaw in conjunction witha marinade. By chance I stumbled onto this hand held shredder made in the Ukraine. I couldn’t believe how easily this shredder cuts fine strands of cabbage. Contains two very sharp blades which allow very fast shredding, doesn’t jam easily with strands and easy to clean. This is one of the Best Buy’s on Amazon if you love making coleslaw

I just received it and would not have given it any stars. The edges of the blades are a rusty color and it truly looks like it has been reconditioned. There should not be rugged edges if it was new. You get what you pay for, but really surprised about what arrived.

Just recieved mines but haven't used it yet, I'm sure it works fine.What I can it is cheaply made. At first I suspected this was an already used preowned product. Assuming that isn't the the case, the metal looks like it was salvaged scrap.I'm going guess this will get rusty and ugly within a year.

It works fine but looks kind of poor quality and cheap. But then again it was cheap. You get what you paid for.

I think this is coming from the far end of the Trans Siberian railroad.

Blade rusty after one use, dangerous to use this on food. Rust is not healthy to eat. Useless.

Brilliant. It does what it's suppose to do. Shreds Cabbage in minutes.

I prefer this thing to a food processor, when I do sauerkraut. This tool is quite popular in Eastern Europe, I was missing it here, in Canada.
