Pine Incense stick,20 Sticks each- 6 pack

One of my favorite scents from Hem, the other one is Sandalwood, which is my most favorite really. There are a few more that I like too, Hem is pretty good incense. What I like about the pine scent is it smells natural. A bit like burning wood and only a bit of pine in there so I could use more pine really as it smells a bit smoky but I like it or love it, especially when I light it up, not so much how it does not linger afterwards (not distinct enough) but I have not found better pine scent yet and I like pine a lot. It was a good deal. I think I will buy some more in the future. In fact I do not really want it to run out and on some days it is my favorite go to. I like the green forest color on the box and I like earth energy but the smell could be a bit more refined for me, less smoky more pine. Still very good though. Hope this helps! 4.5 Stars

I was going to give this four stars because a few of the incense sticks were clumped together. However, they are easy to pull apart, or if you want, they still burn well if you want to just burn the sticks together as one fat incense stick. So to me, that cancels out the negative and I rate is as "I love it" because, well, I do. Other than that minor flaw, these are perfect. They are STRONG. The pre-lit sticks are packaged tight and you can still smell them before opening the package. When I say packaged tight, it's almost an understatement, as you will see that they're packaged in the case box, the 6 pack box, a plastic package, and then another package. It's like those Russian Matryoshka dolls! The smoke aroma also smells strongly like what it's supposed to. Other incense of lesser quality smell good but when you light them, you can only catch a faint whiff of the flavor over the otherwise predominantly flavorless smoky aroma. Not these. It's like a winter wonderland inside my house. They are easy to light, burn slow but strong, and this product is inexpensive for the amount of quality sticks one would purchase. I will definitely be buying this brand again.

Was looking for pine as in pine tree.......as in Canadian forest. Unfortunately this is pine is in pine sol cleaner. Going in the trash.

The scent is clearly pine. It's not a strong, "pure" pine scent like an air freshener you would hang in your car: there is obviously a bit of smokiness to it and it is somewhat mild. Frankly, I wouldn't mind if it was a bit stronger, but it's fine. There is a bit of a deodorant soap smell to it, but not in a bad way: again, it is overall a nice pine scent. There are other pine incense scents with a slightly different take on pine, so maybe try a few and see which you like the best. I am happy to stick with this for now... I find these burn slightly faster than average, about 25 minutes each. I have found the quality of HEM incense to be consistently good. Not perfect, but very good. If you use a "coffin" incense burner like me, you'll find the occasional stick that is too thin to position in the hole so that it is held up properly. I like to keep a couple "stubs" of finished incense sticks near my burner. When a thin stick is encountered, I place the thin stick in the holder hole and then add the "stub" in the hole also. This shims the thin stick into position allowing it to be held up properly.

Not keen on the pine scent

I knew this was a crapshoot since I usually buy Maroma pine incense. The price is more than reasonable but it really smells like sweet pinesol. Other associations are Spencer’s gift shop at the mall circa 1982, or one of those trees that hang from the rear view mirror. I am going to burn it en masse in a house I own, after a particularly bad tenant vacates.

Perfect! You can tell this is a company that cares about quality, from the packaging to the product itself. So much better than the pine essential oils I've tried, understated yet distinct, this smells like a fresh cut Christmas tree is in the next room. Will be buying more before Christmas, can't wait to try some of their other scents!

The scent is a lovely sweet pine. Some pine scents an be overbearing and give a instant headache. Not these!

No smell of pine

The main reason I ended up buying these incense is because some of the reviews were absolutely hilarious and entertaining. I didn't have high hopes since many people complained about the odour it gives off but I must say it smells very natural and calming. I don't know how to describe it other than saying it smells like the outdoors mixed with clean and fresh smelling air.
