Bought as replacement for slowly dying about 6 years old internet radio in kitchen. Convincing built quality and pleasant design, relatively small footprint on the shelf, easy to navigate system, similar to the other internet radios, with nice to operate, good quality remote and good size, easy to read display.I like the sound, which is rather spacious with rich enough basses produced by subwoofer in the bottom, overall surprisingly good for single speaker device.Well equipped with connection options including Bluetooth, aux in, USB and headphones out. Old fashioned telescopic antenna for FM/DAB.If it will last, only time can tell, but at this moment I am quite happy with it and I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of radio.Bw. This is not rechargeable radio and has no battery compartment. In the UK is provided with mains socket adapter, as the the charger comes with european type plug.

This is an excellent table top radio. The sound quality is very good, helped by the wooden case and the bass port in the base. I do find the controls a wee bit fiddly, but it's not a big deal. I found it a little irritating that the automatic station search on FM lists the found stations by frequency, and not by station name. But as I'll be using DAB, that's really not a problem. DAB reception is excellent. I find it amusing that it takes a moment to 'warm up' after switching it on. But at least it's nothing like the 20 seconds which my 1954 valve radio takes!I bought the radio specifically for its internet capability, and in that respect it's very good. The search function is easy to use, and adding to favourites is a doddle. If you want to add a station that's not searchable, you just have to find its URL from the station's website and type it in, then it can also be added to favourites. This is *much* easier to do if you connect an app (I'm using AirMusic) and use that. (With my previous internet radio I had to contact the supplier and ask them to add a station to their portal.)Where I'm not so pleased is that the radio is described as 'portable', 'rechargeable', and containing a lithium battery. It is none of those things. It's quite small, and is therefore easily relocated, but there's no carry handle, and it's strictly mains operated (through the supplied wall adaptor). In this respect, the listing is extremely misleading.On the listing I see, there's a suggestion to buy an external aerial alongside the radio. Don't bother with that; there's no aerial socket.All in all though, despite the caveats, I do think this is a great radio, and I'm very pleased with it. It's very good value for money; at the price (I paid £105) it's very hard to beat.

Firstly this item does not fit the description on Amazon's listing which claims it is rechargeable battery-powered. That is not true - Only the external speaker is battery-powered, not the base unit which is mains-powered. The next problem is with functionality. the internet radio frequently drops out, and buffers for 30 seconds or so. Also, both DAB and internet radio are very slow at loading, up to 30 seconds or so, after switching on from standby I am returning it to the vendor, who is based in Berlin. At least the return is free of charge, although a bit complicated.

The listing of this product is a complete lie. I bought a rechargeable unit that isn't rechargeable. It's main powered. Get this changed, a disgraceful lie

Looking into the similarities back panel design and dimension, features and the use of m6 platform as ios, from magic systech, Auna Silver Star DAB Internetradio should be the same product with Majority Sidney. Quality should be very good but with much higher price.

Maar de keerzijde van deze alleskunner is, dat het configureren enige studie (die uiteindelijk overgaat in ervaring) vereist om het apparaat te laten doen, wat je wilt dat het doet.

Un poco más grande de lo que esperaba, pero me gusta. Todas tus necesidades en un aparato. Quizá la única pega es que tiene la toma de auriculares por detrás, pero solo es un detalle.
