Powerful for the size
I purchased 2 of the 8inch ds18’s for my BMW 335i to replace the under seat speakers. I had already wired up and amp to be able to handle the subwoofers. After install the speakers blew my mind and have held up really good. Would definitely recommend and more and likely will purchase one for the trunk if I need more bass but these have me more that satisfied…💪🏽

Out of this world sound
The speakers did exactly what they were meant to do deliver great bass sound in a small tight space.. the tour pack of my harley davidson ….. thanks to all the other great reviews

Blew immediately
I love ds18, but I don't recommend this sub unless you have a tiny low rms watt amp.It died immediately.

Honest car audio installer review
Ok had a skar it sucked ix10d2 replaced with this . Ds18 10.4 slim is louder on 120-45 hz however the roll odd bellow 49hz is nuts no low end at all , it’s perfect for mid bass if you want to add a ported 4th order hidden in the bed of your truck under the toolbox porters into the cab with a bedcut . Hits 138 at 45 hz with 363 watts mono . Better then nothing ans better then my Audiotek amplified 10 I had before but not by much
