Olga Women's No Side Effects Underwire Contour Bra

I cannot describe how difficult it is, finding the right bra at 40DD. Either there's no support at all and it feels like you're being held together by rubber bands-- the back or arm straps are too thin and they cut into you, or you have half your boobs wanting to come out at the sides, unless you have a really full figure bra and the cup goes so far in the front that if you wear a v-neck your bra is going to show. That said, when it's time to go bra hunting, it sucks. I'm lucky if I find something that fits right, let alone in my size, and most times, because I can't find either, I end up empty handed and stuck with old bras that are just worn out because I can't find anything better. After a failed recent bra hunt, I decided to just see what I could find online and stumbled upon this bra. Based on the reviews, I was skeptical but decided to give it a try, and I am more than pleased with my purchase.My first try shopping online for a bra and it fits me perfectly. Very supportive, no side-effects as the bra claims, gives me a little bit of a push-up effect, and it's comfortable. I love it! The best part about it is, the price. I was afraid I was going to have to go to Torrid or something and dish out like 60 bucks on one bra. Don't get me wrong, I love Torrid, but that's a lot of money. This? It fits me right, feels good and it's for less than half the price. That's just me though. I know some others have differing opinions in the reviews, but it fits me right, and I will be buying my bras from Olga's from now on-- particularly this one.

This bra is amazing!!! Size 38DD. I have three different colors. High quality material and the most importantly it fits perfectly! I am ordering another one with different colour! I was sceptical about ordering online different brand BUT I used to buy Olga brand at Macy’s (where prices were way more expensive, and they don’t have this brand anymore). So knowing this brand previously, I made a right choice with this model even thought this model is new to me! Perfect for large breasts. Highly recommend.—-I also bought white one (same size). It fits perfectly and also hide my saggy skin/fat under arms due to design . I am very happy with this bra.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a nice bra, but it is not a side shaper, if that is what you are looking for. I wear a 42 D and it does not give any side support. It merely glides around the sides and does not hold them in. Nicely made and comfortable, but I wanted to flatten that area under my arms and it doesn’t do that. The band fit correctly and the cup size was perfect, so I think Olga should have used a different fabric in the design.

I have to start by saying I was sadly disappointed by the packaging. A very small box which caused the cups to become crushed. 2 years ago I went to a jockey store for a custom fit and purchased 2 lightly padded bras for a total of $120.00. They ended in the trash as I kept falling out of the cups as the bras were too large. Last year I went to MAcy's for a strapless bra for my daughter's wedding and was aptly fit with the correct size and purchased a couple of unlined bras along with the strapless for again $60 a pop. Hesitant to buy a lightly padded bra as I had a surgery a few years ago that left me with one smaller so again I went to Macy's and tried one on and viola in the right size the fit was perfect. Being an Amazon devotee I came home and began the online search. To my surprise I could get 3 for a comparable price. This bra is great, ordered in butterscotch which is more nude, the extra side coverage is perfect even in a sleeveless dress for work. The size is true both in band and cup. I have already prepared to order 3 more, one in black for a cruise we are taking. I will continue to purchase so I have a stock on hand.

The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because of the bra being a comfortable fit. If my rating was solely based on why I bought the bra, it would be less because I have no use for the bra, as it does not serve my main purpose for the purchase. What I like about this bra, is that it is soft and comfortable. What I don’t like is the exaggeration of “extra side support” the product description says it has. IT DOES NOT. There is nothing firm or spandex like, about the material that would allow for extra support. There is just a piece of unfinished material that is supposed to be giving you that extra support( in the “side boob” area). It will not. If you are NOT looking for that extra side support, which I’m sure is bigger ladies are, then I would recommend. Otherwise, this one problem is a deal breaker for me. If you do purchase, Might want to order a size up. Cup size is fine but closure inches is off, I ordered a 40D and it’s snug on the first prongs meaning I would have needed to order a 42D. Very comfortable, support great, washed well didn’t shrink, very soft

Came as scheduled and quality of Olga bras are always great. I have worn Olga bras for years as they are the most comfortable. I’ve always purchased 44DD and have fit perfectly. Although the model # I love was not available, I chose the closest bra in material, brand and form. But the bra that came did not come close to fitting. The cup was was much bigger leaving about 2 inches of empty space near the nipple and the back although a size 44 was soooo much smaller. Keeping in mind my old bras may be stretched out a bit, they still fit perfectly brand new at a 44DD. Maybe it is the different styles…great quality, just this style did not seem tru to size. I cannot even hook them.

I have to say I really like this bra. It is comfortable, and looks very smooth under a t-shirt. I think the price is reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Size fits as described.

I don’t know how I stumbled upon this bra, I think it came up when I discovered what type of breast shape I had (tear drop / bell). I always would spill out of my bras or have large gaping spaces at the top. I have larger breasts so I need strong straps that lift my boobs up a solid like 6 inches. This bra does that. There are no gaps, the bra sits right on my skin so it looks seamless. It hoists my breasts up to an acceptable level that makes me feel comfortable and supported in clothes. I highly recommend. I’ve never found a bra like this. It’s a game changer.

Great product, fits well

Very comfortable initially, but after a while the wire under the breast rubs me raw. Also the side piece that is supposed to cover the side breast stretches out then doesn’t do anything for the bulge. Would liked to have wider straps.
