It's hard-backed and set up exactly as the Lego instructions are with one addition: it also explains in Engineering-ese how these marvels of advanced society work. There are instructions for approximately 30 different builds from bridges to buildings to "things that float." It is very well written, engaging, colorful and informative. Our Grandson is ready for such a book and I am just delighted with this Christmas gift.

Love the book and the concepts, would love if there was a site that showed how to make that design from the cover, it’s what drove me to buy the book, guess I can piece together from some of the individual builds!

Excellent for older children who love lego. My 8 year old grandson is now getting into technical lego so this book was a great interest. Plenty of things to build. He is exceptionally bright so this book would suit children a lot older than him.
