Excellent Marshall Tone
Did a quick run through as soon as I unpacked it. Little bit of graphic eq to cut some boominess and treble hairiness and it was good to go. The gain range covers EVH type clarity as well as more vintage girth and balls. I love it.

NUX BROWNIE UNDER RATED
The nux brownie is very impressive, im so picky about my drive pedals. the mooer black secret is my fav for van halen type tones, rat..hard rock etc... but the nux brownie is also very good. i have to turn up the treble more than the rat pedal. and i noticed that the mooer black secret pedal is a little tighter distortion and the nux a little looser, which means the nux is a little easier to get pinch harmonics etc... i have had wampler pinnacle deluxe and i like both the mooer and nux better... both the mooer and nux i have the gain less than half and use a sugardrive and a boss sd1 both inline as boost pedals in front of the distortion....very professional tone.... nux brownie fantastic.when used right.

Did not care for
Tone is subjective, but I could not return this thing fast enough.

Better than just "decent for the money"
I play my Strat into a clone of a late 50's Fender Deluxe. Sometimes I want to sound like a Les Paul into a Marshall. That's why I decided to try this pedal. It's small, but it's mighty. It feels solid and I believe it would withstand the rigors of gigging. I ended up buying a JHS AT Signature because it allowed me to fine tune the tone just *that* much more. If you want to get 90% of the way there and save a bit, try this Brownie. I still have mine.

Great Pedal!
This pedal is outstanding. It has a solid build, great price and sounds amazing. I have some distortion pedals that cost four times as much but dont sound any better than this. I got this because the Nux Morning Glory was so good. I am really happy with this brand.

Unchained pedal for those who remember!!!
This brown sound pedal delivers the goods when it come to the VANHALEN sound I ordered another one because it sounds that good and it is the most affordable brown sound pedal out there for the price just a tweak of the tone and gain and its 1978 again!!!
