interesting
As chonky as the machete is, it handles stupidly well...., the sharpness is fine for a machete, a finer grind will just make your edge weaker. Chopped through a ehh 5" diameter branch in like 60 whacks, 30 or so, those were off the mark so pretty damn good. The gut hook I haven't found a use for yet, it chops through the thorn bushes overtaking my back yard like butter. So yay. Things massive, I'm sad I can't just strap it to my backpack and carry it around everywhere. I may buy a smaller one to do just that lol.

Camillus needs to update.
Excellent blade weight for clearing. the blade back grooves are very dangerous and useless, i had to grind them down. Its a knife and must be sharpened accordingly. Sheath only snaps at one part, the other snap does not reach to close.

Awesome quality product! Not an optimally efficient TOOL.
I've owned 2 of these. The smaller one and the bigger one. For the price, it's a great blade. The sheath is good quality. It comes very sharp and ready to use. It really is a great tool. However, personally, I have since let go of both and moved away from integrated multi tool designs. For example. I would love this machete more without the saw back so that I can just baton the wood I'm chopping. Also, the saw doesn't work like a handsaw/pruning saw would. It's too thick and the tones aren't long/sharp enough to really be efficient. It works more like a wood file. Which sucks on anything wet. It just clogs the teeth. So, it's not great for getting through any large diameter logs as sell defense if you wanted to mutilate and not sever it may be great for that. But the saw back as a functionally efficient tool is subpar at best. The hook is good for grabbing a taller limb to pull down and hack, and the chisel is great for bushcraft. If you want a good machete for machete work, get a machete that is JUST a machete. If you want a bad a** self defense weapon get it, can alsys piont the tip for stabbing. If you want to do camp stuff and bushcraft with an OVERSIZED cumbersome blade, get it. It's a great quality product. However, I would get the tool you need for the specific job and this one as a multi function style doesn't do any one of those jobs efficiently. That's how I'd best describe it. It's a great quality product. For doing blade stuff. It's NOT a good TOOL for actual work. Terrible saw. Ok machete. Ok chisel. And I can use a long branch to grab a branch to chop. So the hook is irrelevant. But yeah, awesome quality product. Feels great in your hand. Is well made. Average functionally at best. Five stars because it is a nice hunk of metal for the price. If you want TOOL(S) get the real deal single one for what you need. Otherwise, efficiency tanks. And for this application, efficiency is key.

Heavy duty
This is a very stout machete/knives that works well for palm fron trimming.

Tough piece of steel
I've been using this in the woods for over a week now clearing brush and blackberries and shrubs. Tough little machete. It comes dull as they all seem to so I sharpened it and this thing is wicked. Watch your legs swinging her around I almost got myself when I was "in the zone" whacking away on brush lol. Great value for the money imo

Nice and sharpe
I have yet to use this, but it is very sharp. Only complaint was that one of the straps needed to stretched a little to fit around the handle. But it's a secondary one so not even necessary.
