If yours is dripping check here!
So I’ve worked in a few labs and had to use Pipettes to draw samples. I found this from 1-10mm and thought it would streamline my nutrient process for gardening. It did, but it took me a little work to get there. When I first took it out of the package I filled a glass with tap water and began testing it. It dropped everywhere. I got upset and arranged an exchange. After I got off the phone I started playing with it and the accessories.First thing I did was take the cover off the end. It twisted off. Then there was a black housing for the piston. It turns a couple degrees then pulls straight off. There is a rubber plunger in there with silicone grease on it. I smeared the grease around better reassembled and viola! It worked!!Now I went to my garden and grabbed a graduated cylinder with 1ml markings. I ran through testing it at 10, 5, 3, and 2 ml (my common nutrient doses) and the meniscus sat right on the Correlating line. Not bad, I was happy and I cancelled my return. I packed it all up and put it away. Later on in the evening I was going to mix nutes and I thought it was a great opportunity to break it in. Well, wouldn’t you know it started dripping again. I switched over to my disposable pipettes and when I got done I started trouble shooting.I got the instructions out and read through them thoroughly. I payed particular attention to forward and reverse pipe tying instructions. I followed them step by step and drew 20-30 samples in a row with no drips. All in all I’d say it’s a great little device, accurate enough for my needs. I think it’s a little finicky, but that could also be operator failure. YMMV, but I think in the long run it’ll work just fine.

Does not accurately measure
One of the worse purchases I have ever made and I make LOTS of purchases! I rarely write reviews, but had to on this pipette. The readings are all over the place. All I want and expect it to do is measure PRECISELY 10ml of my aquarium water so that I can run tests for nitrate, alkalinity, magnesium, etc. Every time it gives me a different reading! One time it's 12 ml, another 11ml, another 13ml! I then tried dialing it to 8ml since it was consistently 2 ml off and even that fluctuates! It was supposed to help make testing my water parameters easy, but it's a waste of money! Will collect dust on my shelf!
