You might find this funny. At first I thought the watch was damaged because it had bubbles on the Case. I showed it to someone and he said, 'You have to remove the plastic film cover off the case'Lol and Wow. Well for many years I never wore a watch. I was never into watches before

A solid watch. Good movement. Keeping very good time. I check the time against the NIST US time and it is right on. The bracelet is not great. Put a NATO strap on and you're good to go. Lume is mediocre. Price is very good for a tough watch. Very fast service. Definitely would buy again.

Great watch. Comparable in quality to the Orient line of mechanical watches, but at a lower price point, plus the added bonus of being quirkily Russian. Only 2 drawbacks to the watch 1- it's slightly smaller than I expected, not a big deal. 2- Setting the date is a bit tedious. Neither takes away from the rating of the watch. The shipping was fantastic, came more than a week prior to scheduled delivery. The packaging held up well, with the watch box secured within the shipping box and packed with newspapers to absorb shock. The chocolate bar was a nice touch, too. Very pleased with the experience and the product.

I wanted to check one out esp. since it is a mechanical watch. It is a 40mm watch but it does wear pretty small when I compare it to other watches. Maybe I just got used to the 42-44mm case sizes.Overall, it's seems to be a nice watch. Nice smooth movement.

For 75$ including shipping from Russia, this watch is a fantastic value. It tells very accurate time, and it looks even better in person. And because it is a Vostok diver it is practically indestructible. There are even videos on youtube of people freezing their Amphibian, hitting it with a hammer, and running it over with their car, only to have their watch still tell very accurate time. So, if you're looking for an amazing summer watch that can withstand practically everything you can throw at it, look no more. And if you do plan on purchasing this beauty, get a different watch band. While the band it comes with is fine, it pales in comparison to the craftsmanship that goes into the watch itself. I personally recommend getting a nice nylon NATO band because they can handle the heat quite a bit better than leather.

Arrived in perfect condition well ahead of the projected delivery date. This is the first Vostok I've ever purchased. Winding the date was a little troublesome and the instructions weren't exactly helpful, but I found a video on youtube that did the trick. The watch itself is very nice and seems very durable. I replaced the bracelet with a strap so I have the perfect summer knockaround watch that I don't have to worry about getting wet.

This was my first auto wind mechanical watch. After 2 weeks it developed a clunking noise. Took the back off and the auto wind weight was rattling around in the case. Don't believe at this time I will ever see a refund/replacement. I wanted to enjoy this watch but not to be. Also it was a little too small. You should get your metric ruler out before buying. It looked like a butch ladies watch. I still want a mechanical watch. Something I'm not scared to wear all the time. Still looking.

I really like this watch it has a distinctive look, stands out and is a bit of a conversation starter. Overall for $100 I am happy with the purchase.What I dont like:You cant set the date via the crown, it just does not work. YOu just have to keep turning the hands until its the right date.It loses about a minute a day.The crown is very loose and feel like it will break one day.Despite all this, I may get another one in a different color.

Excellent watch with tremendous durability. Points for style too. Very satisfied and will be adding more Vostoks to my collection.

Good movement, well improved, keeps time properly but the finition is less interesting than a Seiko for an equivalent price.
