Major League Baseball ABC: My First Alphabet Book (My First Alphabet Books (Michaelson Entertainment))

Bought this as a part of a baseball themed birthday gift for the 1 year old son of a friend. The boards book is sturdy and durable to stand up to little hands and the pictures are fun to look at. She said it’s her husband’s new favorite book to read their little one at bed time and they actually went on and bought a few others from this author because they love it so much.

Exactly what I was looking for!

One of my favorite board books purchased. Revised in 2013, it is current and does a great job breaking down baseball to teach the alphabet. They include all 30 MLB teams listed by mascot on the page of the corresponding letter (yes, page "R" is pretty busy). Some of the concepts may be a little heavy and need further explanation (as well as acronyms like RBI and ERA, which are not defined), but if you're anything like me you will find it a perfect place to begin seasoning a future baseball fan.

I gave this to my 18-month-old nephew for Christmas and it is his favorite gift. He wants everyone and anyone to read it to him over and over again. If you have a toddler growing up in a sports-oriented family, you can't go wrong with this sturdy colorful book.

Great book for my 5 year old baseball fan! Helps with beginning reading because he is super-interested in MLB.

My grandson is only three but picks this book first just about every nite. It not only teaches early baseball terminology but also information that they will learn into the later years.

Great book for young baseball lovers.

Love it and can't wait to give it to my little guy for his birthday.
