Can you use it wiht Xbox X and can you use it on Rockband 4?

Rockband 4 did away with keyboard. Im not positive if you can use on RB 3 on the Xbox one. I believe if you can it would require the adapter for legacy instruments though.

Is this kid friendly?

Depends on age of "kid". if the child is musically adept, the basic 5 keys used to follow the notes on the screen can be great learning experience. A really small child will likely just push all the keys to make noise and not exactly enjoy what the instrument was really created for.

Is the separate pro adapter required to play pro keys? Or will pro keys be available automatically.

Pro keys are available automatically at least in Rock Band 3, I haven't played past that one.

Would this work with Lego rock band?

Probably not. As far as I know the keyboard only works with Rock Band 3.
