While this hat is a little flimsy and requires some effort to get the feather to stay up (I ended up stitching it so it would stay upright), it worked perfectly for our William Sheepspeare! His jaunty little hat totally completed his look! The elastic that keeps the hat in place is really good and keeps the hat securely in place!

We bought this for my son to do a school project dressing up as a character from the past. It is flimsy and lightweight but perfect for a one off use. I was very pleased with it as it arrived quickly and made his outfit look great (much easier than me trying to make something!)

I bought this for my son to wear while he did his book review of "A Midsummer Nights Dream" It's very thin and I'm afraid the feather will fall off. But it's cute on and he is really excited to wear it. For the price, we're happy.

Fit perfect and was comfortable. Great value for the money. Obviously the quality won’t last forever. But perfect for our event.

Well, the dead don't complain, right?Actually, the hat made a better complement than the one that came with my medieval outfit. Adding a cape to the ensemble sets up as close as I'll get to a Pied Piper outfit for my big "Dead Things" display this Halloween.This guy will be on one side of my driveway attracting Dead Things (skeletal animals) and an Animal Control skeleton will be on the other, chasing after Dead Things.The hat itself is just right. Contrary to some other comments, the feather seats just fine and, with a little gingerly coaxing, sits up a bit as I like it. Of course, the Florida rains will no doubt flatten it again, but I think it's really the best hat available for a minstrel-type look (and believe me, I was ALL over the internet looking).I rate the hat a big win for the flair and attention-getting necessary for a truly magical look. Even my skeleton looks happy wearing it!

This was a cute hat and great for a quick school dress up project. The feather was not secured very well. The hat fit my 7 year old child well. The price was reasonable.

This is a great costume piece that I bought to wear at the local midieval fair. It looks great and it works fine. It’s not a well constructed piece of everyday headwear, but it’s not meant to be, it’s just a costume piece and it fits the bill perfectly.
