Mexican Tamarind Candy, 1 oz, 36 Count (Pack of 1)

Let me tell you, I have the biggest sweet tooth in the world! So I have a section in my pantry that is all candy from all over the world. It’s for my eyes and hands only lol hubby isn’t allowed to touch. So when I saw this pack on Amazon as a deal I jumped on it! These are 100% authentic and they are made in Mexico. I know this because the flavor intensity as well as the heat intensity are both very high. I have bought Pelon before at local grocery stores near me and in comparison this one has a much better overall experience. It tastes very much like tamarind and the heat level is up there. Whereas the ones from the grocery store were milder. They are the perfect size for consumption of candy, not too much not too little. I mmm Pros and cons are as follow: Pros 1- They come individually wrapped which maximizes freshness and quality per Pelon. 2- Comes in bulk, perfect for parties or a secret stash like mine lol 🙈 3- Is 100% real Authentic Mexican Candy I don’t really have any Cons. Overall, these candies are of amazing quality and price. You get a large amount which is ideal for piñatas or gift bags. If you have never tried this candy before, I would say definitely give these a try because you will NOT be disappointed! Go ahead try em!

These were delicious and very easy to eat. They never made a mess even with their stickiness and the size of them were really good for how many you receive.

very good value for money. some of them had a (very viscous) little drop of leakage from the seam but it didn't affect anything, probably just got a little warm at some point. they taste like any other pelon, maybe a little spicier and flavorful but i didn't do any direct comparisons. i would order again if i didn't get so addicted to them lol

My daughter loves this so I ordered it for her. The taste was pretty good in my opinion but the texture wasn’t the best. Good value though!

This is a great soft tamarind flavoured candy! You squeeze it from the bottom and it comes up from the top like it's growing hair! You then eat the hair. The price is reasonable for what it is, as I don't think you can really find it cheaper for this amount.

Best snack if you like a little kick glad that i can find this snack here in Japan as i used to eat these all the time when i was a child back in the states

As somebody that used to live in Texas and used to buy these off the ice cream truck it was nice having a taste of home all the way up here in the great white North
