Wealth, title and money do not buy happiness.
Excellent! This is quality writing, methodically organized with straightforward presentation.Queen Elizabeth II: A Woman Who Is Not Amused by Nicholas Davies is unique in that it is far more controversial and inflammatory than anything written about Diana, Princess of Wales, yet curiously does not seem to carry similar notoriety. Anyone familiar with the history of the British monarchy may find very little enlightening information regarding the subject matter and view the work instead as a contemporary update to what has been going on for centuries within the ranks of the royal household. It has often been said that money does not buy happiness. Apparently, in this case, neither does power or a title. However, it would appear likely that they do make being discontented easier to deal with. One can only wish the best for Queen Elizabeth II. She and Diana Frances Spencer certainly deserve much better than they have received.I highly recommend this book.Suggested related reading:1) How They Murdered Princess Diana: The Shocking Truth by John Morgan2) An article entitled Holy War At Harrods by Maureen Orth writing for Vanity Fair magazine @ guardianlies.com.3) Diana - The Last Word by Simone Simmons4) Diana: The Lonely Princess by Nicholas Davies5) Dead Wrong 2: Diana, Princess of Wales by Richard Belzer6) By Hook Or By Crook by Steven Martindale7) A Hero From Zero, The Story of Kleinwort Benson and Mohamed Fayed by Roland W. Can't even get plain facts right
It's hard to trust a biographer who is lying to the reader before the star of his biography is even born.

GREAT BOOK!!
A great book about the Queen. Lots of information, but not too over the top with details and hard-to-understand writing.
