MR CARTOOL L302 Digital Manifold Gauge Set 2-Valve Refrigerant HVAC Systems Leakage Pressure Tester Tool with 3 Hoses for Air Conditioning Refrigeration Recharging

When my analogue gauges showed -29hg, the Mrcartool digital gauges showed -24hg, and my pump was aerating oil, which led me to find 2 small leaks with my old hoses/fittings. After I repaired my leaks and zeroed the gauges, the reading went to -31hg, which is an impossible reading. I assume it was pulling a very good vacuum, but I will never really know the exact number. Assuming I was actually pulling -29.5hg, they are still within 5%.

VERY POOR INSTRUSTIONS

This is a very nice manifold set. I love the backlight. I can finally see pressures when I'm back behind some equipment. I also like that I can see vacuum pressure on high and low sides -- my old manifold set would only let me see vacuum on one side.This set takes two 9 Volt batteries. It includes 5/16" SAE adapters that you need for R410A ductless mini split systems. It doesn't include any car adapters but those are easy to come by.The valves are 90 degree turn butterflies and are quick and smooth.Everything on this manifold set works rather well. It is a tiny bit cumbersome to cycle through all the refrigerants but if you know your pressures you can just skip that so it's barely an inconvenience.

Pros:1. LCD read out means no more bouncy gauges and guess work.2. Takes 2 batteries - easy enough.3. Materials are heavy duty and the unit appears very well made.4. Reads low and high pressure side.5. Worked with my vacuum pump and filling setup - required same adapters most require.Cons:1. Something this nice deserves a nice storage case to protect it - most people will just leave it hanging up though.
