Amazing, I can now use a dual sense and the track pad works great when using the dual sense too! Finding an authentic DualShock in good condition is tough for a good price but this adapter makes life so easy so I can pick up a dual sense from my local brick-and-mortar store and just play on my PS4 with a new controller. It does seem to work best when you go to device settings in PS4 and switch controllers preference to usb instead of Bluetooth. It appears you may need a DualShock to initially set this up but once done I don’t need it anymore. I could be wrong on this but this is how I set it up. Definitely follow the instructions because it is not a straightforward setup. But totally worth it!

Literally magic. I baught a Dualshock 3 to play retro games on my pc, after hours of trying to get it to work wireless with different drivers and applications the best result was reboot loops every half hour or so. But after stumbling across this device on a reddit post. I figured that I might as well try it. Worse comes to worse, I could use my PS5 controller on one of my friends Switches and watch there jaws drop. But after trying it. It works perfectly! Now I can play those old Playstation games as God intended, with a Dualshock that doesn't have a track pad.

Bought this device for my PS3. Easy to connect my PS5 controller to PS3. This device gives the controller a rumble future and the usage of the PS home button. Must buy!

It works perfectly

I finally got it to connect. I had to unplug it and plug it back in a few times. The led was blinking slowly, not solid. Didn't want to connect to the ps4. Once it had a solid led, it still didn't work right away, even though the controller was already paired. I connected the controller to the device with a usb cable and the ps4 finally recognized it. After unplugging it and turning the controller back on, the wireless paired connection (through the magic-pro device) works. I'm using a ps5 dualsense controller. Once it's actually set up, everything works. I think. I haven't tested the gyro, actually, but touch controls work and vibration works despite other reviews stating that vibration won't work with the dualsense. I've found that after waking the ps4 from rest mode, after pairing the controller, you still have to press the ps button for it to be detected by the console. old: Not detected at all by the ps4. Firmware is fully up to date.

Set it to the purple color setting and it works flawlessly with Switch 2. Can pair Xbox and PlayStation controllers fairly easily and with no noticeable lag. Only downsize is that you can only connect one controller at a time to the best of my knowledge. Small price to pay for using a superior controller setup!

I was having issues with lag and distance since my tv is in a different room. Worth the price.

Worked perfect out of the box, for years I wished for a way to use my old ps3 diva gamepad on newer systems and just never came across this product, plugged it into my switch 2 and without any extra steps aside from enabling a wired pro controller setting it worked instantly and without any noticeable input lag (mabey biased) just because you can calibrate lag in most rythem game settings but it seems to work just fine for all other functions in games, all buttons are mapped to their console equivalent automatically and I've hand no issues to speak of. Honestly surprised, a great pick up if you want to use your old controllers for comfort, or you have old gamepads and I'm assuming fight sticks that are no longer compatible and quite frankly the market for modern gamepads/fight sticks is quite pricey, that old stick you bought 10 years ago still works good. Great buy

I've had issues with my PS3 pads failing for years. The flexi boards fail and buttons don't work, and the thumbsticks wear out and the replacement ones are never as good. I've bought two of these adapters instead and am currently using some DS4 pads and they're working perfectly. No issues syncing and as far as the games are concerned they're real PS3 pads.
