Well one closet's done!
I ordered this and the box was fine but somehow I had a feeling it would be harder to install than I could handle. I was right but it wasn't due to the kit! I got two of my son's friends to install it for me and it was a beast. Not because of the design but because there were so many nails and screws holding in wooden pieces for the original rod that the side pieces couldn't be installed as is. The old nails and screws had rusted, stripped, etc. and couldn't be extracted. It took seven hours to install because the lads had to measure, measure, draw and use a circular saw to jerry rig the install around the existing wooden closet stuff. It's not a picture perfect install like in the pictures but once my clothes were hung, it was a thing of beauty. I have only a five foot closet and it took a good bit of cutting and redesigning to get it to work. I hung one of the shelves over the middle section where the hanging piece is and put my handbags there. I've ordered two more of the 24 inch shelves to cut to size to hang over the two other rods. I figure that will be the perfect place for pillows or hatboxes, etc. Since I was able to hang most of my summer wardrobe on the rods I am using the shelves for shoes.Yes this is an easy track review but I want to say that after hunting and hunting for shoe storage, the perfect shoe accessory for this kit turned out to be the Container Store's clear pull out shoe drawers. They're pricey at $8 each but that's only $2 more than the Sterilite ones at Wal-mart which are too big to fit three wide on the shelves and stick out farther than the 14 inch shelf depth. Trust me, Goldilocks looked and looked for the appropriate shoe containers. I have a total of 12 of the Container Store shoe boxes filled with summer sandals on the shelves, three fit perfectly on each shelf's width. On the top row of these boxes there's enough room below the top shelf for a pair of shoes to rest over each shoe drawer. Therefore I have 15 pairs of ladies shoes in clear view, with 12 in dust free, visible storage. On the floor, below the shelves, perfectly fitting in a dual row of three are six of container Store's larger clear pull out shoe drawers sizes for sneakers. This larger size will also hold mean's dress shoes or ladies platforms. This means I can store 21 pairs and access them immediately without having to hunt! I'm not Imelda Marcos so this is enough. (winter shoes are in a large pull-out box under the bed) Even with the shoe boxes and the extra shelves and paying the lads for the install, I figure my lovely organized closet cost me less than $500 and it's a pleasure to know where my work blouses are vs. my casual clothes, etc.My philosophy on purchases is it's worth spending a little more on the right item for you, especially those things that you use every day and make life easier. I don't like the wire closet kits and I knew this would work for me if I could get it installed. I also installed a fluorescent light tube over the inside door molding in the closet. It's plugged into an extension cord that has a step-on switch. This way on gray rainy days, just maybe I can tell the difference between navy and black. Personally i have to write navy on an inside label. Hope this helps you if you were on the fence about this kit.

Good buy
We bought this right before a holiday and it was shipped and arrived within a few days. Unfortunately it went to the wrong house. Apparently the UPS guy thought that dropping at the house around the corner with the same address numbers as ours was close enough and called it good. Great job checking if the street was right UPS.Luckily the lovely lady that lived there came by to let us know that our package had been delivered there by mistake. My wonderful husband went to pick up the package and boy did he love picking up a 70 pound package and bringing it home.Thank. you. again. UPS.Upon arriving with the Easy Track system we discovered the package had been handled badly during shipping. The outer box bottom had been ripped open. The inner box (which you would see if buying at a store) was bent but intact. We opened the package excitedly and... discovered that the 72" long panels had been broken cleanly in half.Apparently the box had been either dropped or had fallen over with enough force to snap two large panels.I immediately went to Amazon and went through the extremely easy process of returning the first box. They shipped out a new box before the first one had even been picked up for return and I had a new package waiting that Friday, three days later and with a holiday thrown in.The system itself was very easy to put together and we discovered that you just put the track on the wall about 76" off the floor and then you can decide exactly where to place your panels. Not very easy for one person but easier with two.I am and extremely handy person (I have refinished cabinets and I know my way around power tools) and I have to say that without two people, this would have been harder to put together.Once it was done though I am beyond thrilled with how it looks. It holds all my clothes with room for more (Yay!) and it looks professional .The only thing I wish they had was a shelf that goes on the top. We added our own and it looks awesome.I would buy this again.

Very sturdy & able to fit more clothes in closet!
I am very pleased with this purchase. Upon opening the package, I did notice that 3 of the 4 vertical panels had minor damage. Some of the smooth white finish had come off on some of the edges/corners. The unit still works as described and the clothes hide the damage.I am 5'2" female and installed this by myself. As a whole, it was relatively hard to do alone and I recommend having a helper! The center shelving unit in the picture is built on the ground, then picked up, and hung on the Easy Track. This was EXTREMELY difficult to do by myself, but still doable....very heavy!I decided to put my shelving unit to one side of the closet instead of having my clothing racks split on the left and right of shelves. I hung the Easy Track at the recommended height and can barely reach clothes hung on the top rod. This, however, was not a problem because my husband was given the top rack and I have taken the bottom! Surprisingly, even my thigh length coats and short dresses don't touch the ground when hung from the bottom rack! I have filled up every last inch of the clothing rods and it is still very strong. The only thing I felt this closet organizer was missing was a top shelf! I went to my local hardware store and found the exact same material, had it cut to the width of the closet, bought some shelf brackets, and installed the shelf! It rests on top of this organizer's vertical panels, is reinforced by the shelf brackets (which are invisible due to the clothes hanging in front) and it looks like it came with the organizer!!!!!!!
