FABULOUS - my hair has never looked so good
I found this on my quest for a cheaper Airwrap alternative. Honestly, I don't know why you'd pay for a Dyson when you can have this. It works so well! Dries my hair quickly without frying it, gives me volume, and my hair looks smooth and styled when I've finished. I could never manage to use a round brush and a hairdryer at the same time so this thing really is genius. I brought the smaller round brush attachment which is better for my fine hair and has soft bristles unlike the hard bristled, bigger brush that comes with it, although I'd imagine if you have long thick hair the bigger brush might work better for you. I also brought the curling wand attachment which I haven't been able to make curls with yet - but reading reviews it seems I might just need to practice this a bit more and use mousse or something as well. The curling wand has been useful however for shaping my fringe to how I want it to look so not a complete waste. All the additional attachments are reasonably priced too. Honestly, I'm thrilled with this thing and I've been recommending it to everyone.

A great dryer that makes it easy to style hair.
I didn't know what to expect from this after reading the mixed reviews but after recently cutting myself a fringe, I knew I needed to style it more. I didn't want to keep using straighteners though so thought I'd try this. There are mixed views on whether or not it is heavy. I don't think it's any heavier than an ordinary dryer but as you move the brush part on wet hair there is some resistance so it may feel heavier when you start drying. I have arthritic fingers and still found it easy to use. I did make my arms ache sometimes so I dry it in 2 stages if I have time. That's only because I'm holding it in place above my head to get some 'bounce' on the top which it certainly does!! My very fine hair feels much thicker and fuller, and being able to curl it under at the ends, it has added style which normal hairdryers don't. My hair has never knotted using this - a problem I previously had every day.I can't comment on the shine as my hair is quite shiny anyway but it does leave it shiny. Less broken ends too.One thing it's missing (and I really miss it) is a hook to hang it up.Overall, I'm really glad I bought it, and wouldn't go back to a normal dryer now.As a HUGE added bonus, I cut a hole in the box and gave it to my ball python snake. If you have one of these, you will know they are notoriously picky eaters. After a 5 month hunger strike, he spent a few days in this box which must have made him feel incredibly secure as he's since eaten 4 meals instantly. The purchase was worth it for this alone.

Great tool but didnt quite work for me
Firstly I just want to say this is a really great product. Its so easy to use, dries hair quickly and is effective. If you have longer hair or hair that is straight/a bit wavy this probably will be amazing for you. I just never get the results I want with these kinda things. My hair is above shoulder length, naturally wavy and fine but lots of it! It did definitely dry my hair and it was smoother than when I do it with a dryer and brush (i give up halfway through with this because i cant be bothered) but i ended up with a bit of an old fashioned look to my blowdry. I tried a few times in different ways but I just want happy with the look. It was brilliant for my fringe though. I was sad to return it but i wanted something that would mean i didnt have to use straighteners after.

Great piece of kit for the money
I was really surprised how much difference this made to my hair, it really looks like I've had a professional blow dry. It's a bit time consuming; I normally dry my hair upside down for about 5 minutes and then take about 5 mins to straighten it. This takes about 1/2 an hour so maybe not for every day but great for when you're going out. I watched some Youtube videos before using it, which helped a lot. It does take a bit of practice to be proficient. Sectioning your hair off with clips is essential or you'll end getting in a right tangle. My hair got stuck in it on one occasion and my husband had to help me get the brush out of my hair! For the price it's a great piece of kit for the results it gives.

Love it even on my fine, thin hair
It looks bulky but wasn’t too heavy to use and is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. I can get a fair bit of volume even in my lacklustre locks it increases the shine and is great for straightening aswell as adding big volume at the roots. I can get a wave but I’m not very good at styling so need more practice. Overall loving this

Bought after much research!
Watched a lot of YouTube videos covering brush dryer sets. This one always seemed to do well. It’s not always the most expensive that perform the best! I really like that the brush is removable for cleaning.I have shoulder length, fine hair, cut into layers. Left to dry naturally, it’s pretty lifeless! The barrel size is perfect for my hair and grips just right. I’ve managed to cut down styling time to about 10 minutes.Edit!Forgot to mention it has several power settings so you can get just the right amount of heat into your hair to dry, but not over dry. That’s really important for me!I would strongly advise anyone getting any dryer like this to watch videos on using them- it’s really important to not overheat your hair and use heat protect spray (I use a root lift spray as well)

Better than Babylis
I wanted a brush with a detachable head as my babylis big hair bristles get really caked up with product. The Revlon one step plus seemed to be rated quite highly and looked like it could be easily cleaned.I tried the Revlon for the 1st time today, and at 1st I was disappointed to realise it doesn't rotate. But I found that the shape of the brush head meant it gripped my hair really well and actually seems easier to use for volume than the babylis. There was much more control of the brush compared to having a rotating brush that can get tangled and catch nearby hair, and it also felt like the revlon was much more gentle because placement felt secure, and it was easy to move from adding volume to the roots to then smoothing and drying the rest of the length of hair. My Babylis always felt like it was damaging my hair with how aggressive it seemed at times. I would use the Revlon over the Babylis any day!
