flimsy board breaks fast
Board broke after two uses, flimsy construction, so be careful. The game itself is a great resource, kids like the way it looks and it produces some nice blend reading.

Warning to parents: this is not a standalone or beginner-level game. The product description fails to mention that it is part of a 6-stage series, each building upon the previous lessons. Without that foundation of learning, your child may not be ready for the concepts in this product which makes these learning games confusing and frustrating for the child. NO BETTER WAY TO MAKE THEM INSECURE ABOUT LEARNING THAN TO CONFUSE AND FRUSTRATE THEM. This product is intended to to follow "6 Phonemic Awareness Games" (Phase 1), "6 Letter Sound Games" (Phase 2), "6 Phonics Games" (Phase 3) and "6 Blend Games" (Phase 4). "6 Vowel Sound Games," (Phase 5) and then "6 Spelling Games" (Phase 6).
