My elderly father used these when his fitted hearing aids went in for repair. They really work. They are comfortable and easy to insert into ears. Easy to charge. Now they are my dad's back up hearing aids. He uses them more than we thought. Good value for the money. High quality.

I was diagnosed with moderate bilateral sensorineural hearing loss around a year ago. I thought I'd be okay living with, but hearing others in public settings, such as class and the grocery store, has gotten very difficult. These are really great for the price, and I can hear all sorts of things I haven't been able to before. I found out my fridge makes a sound too! I'm hoping to slow down the hearing loss by using these, and maybe I'll invest in a prescription hearing aid one day. I'm a young college student as well, and these are nice and discreet. They come with a case so you can safely store them when you need a break from them, and the charging port is nice and magnetic.

These are obviously much less expensive than many such devices and around 1/10 of the cost from an audiologist (including their fees). I have some significant loss in the upper frequency’s of my hearing. I am male, age 72 - It’s about typical. It means that high voiced, soft spoken female speakers are hard to understand, especially if there is a noise like the TV on. The Good: The sound quality is pretty good and the noise level isn’t objectionable. I can better understand people’s voices with these. They are relatively easy to set up and control - There are few settings. Although, as you would expect the high (treble) notes are accentuated, music is still enjoyable - the bass notes still come through. I still have decent directionality of my hearing - I can tell what direction the sounds I hear are coming from. The Bad: The default earpieces (red card photo) are small and the tube it attaches to is very small. I had used these a few weeks and one night on taking off my hearing devices, one of the little silicone ear buds that goes into the ear canal came off and stayed in the ear canal. Perhaps I pushed it in too far. In any case I couldn’t get it out, nor could my wife see it. I had to go to an urgent care facility the next morning to have it removed from my ear. While I admit I may have inserted the bud too far into my ear canal, this was kind of scary until it was removed. The root problem seems to me that the default earbud needs to be in fairly deeply to work well, but it can go in easier that it comes out if you go in too far. After I had the ear bud removed, I waited a day and then used the larger tubes and earpieces (yellow background photo) that also come with the device (aparantly for those with more serious hearing loss). These have the advantages of an ear bud that doesn’t have to go all the way into the ear canal to get decent results and the tubes are bigger and easier to work with. (By the way a common pipe cleaner does a good job of cleaning out these tubes). After changing over to the larger earpiece tubes and buds, the devices are a bit more visible than with the default tiny tubes, but it looks to me like hopefully I won’t have to take another trip to the urgent care facility again to get the bud removed from my ear canal. By the way - earwax can be a problem with any hearing device. I carefully clean my ears every night with a Q-Tip (be very cautious) and even so, a little earwax can get into the earbud and tubes and if it does, it will block the sound - especially with the default tiny tubes unless you clean them daily. Update ~ 1 1/2 years Later: I have had no real problems with these since I switched over to the larger hearing tubes and earbuds. They work and are simple to use. I have wanted a Bluetooth version like this and have tried a couple of competing products with Bluetooth. I wanted that to be able to listen directly to my phone for calls or music and to be able to set up the hearing aid response via Bluetooth. One worked pretty well aside from sounding bad on music from my phone (no bass at all) and physically hurt my ear at the end of the day because the shape was not adjustable. The other one didn't work at all to receive Bluetooth audio from my phone and was comfortable enough but because it didn't really fit properly it was prone to squeals (feedback). Compared to those, these hearing aids are great - No Bluetooth but they just work. This has caused me to raise my review by 1 star. Having 3 buttons instead a miserable single button makes them much easier to adjust (On/OFF and Up/Down Volume) The battery life continues to be good. It recharges in an hour or two and I I use it all day and into the evening with no issues. By the way, the larger tubes are 2mm ID X 3mm OD and Amazon sells those cheaply in both silicone and PVC tubing. The earbuds are pretty much standard and Amazon sells those too. Those simple little tubes that go to your earbud allow you to adjust the spacing to your ear canal from your outer ear for your particulars ears. Being able to use a variety of earbuds lets you find a size and style that works best for you. If this manufacturer made a version like this with Bluetooth I would buy them in a heartbeat. And, BTW - When I want to read I just turn off the hearing aids. I think my grandad did that when he was tired of hearing grandma. It is not complete silence but it's a feature.

Setup was quick and easy right out of the box, and the sound quality is clear without that annoying whistling or feedback. It’s comfortable enough to wear all day and the battery lasts longer than I expected. For the price, it’s a great alternative to expensive prescription options.

My spouse of 54 years, very hard working man who worked around loud electronic noises in military and jet engines while spending 36 years with his company was nearly deaf. I had asked him so many times to get hearing aides but he refused because of the cost. Idk what happened whether it be he was missing out on conversations during golf or playing billiards but one day he decided to order these hearing aides. The change in him is nothing short of a miracle. Nothing is more perfect than natural hearing ability but when you’ve gone probably 10 years without hearing basic sounds, having to use closed captions and a wife who feels completely isolated from her life’s partner, it is as close to perfect as one can get. That being said…….. 1. He can hear coffee drip into the carafe and it amazes him. Can you even imagine?!!! 2. I don’t have to repeat myself two-4 times because he can’t hear. 3. He is laughing, smiling and interacting again with people and not missing out on the punch line or the conversation. 4. I no longer feel isolated and I know he does too. 5. Only tiny issue is that when the wind blows, it gets loud in his ears. Not a significant issue. 6. Batteries last all day. 7. TV is not blaring and so momma doesn’t get headaches from noise pollution🥳 8. We can talk quietly and not everyone from 10 yards away can hear my words🤣 9. The aides are silver and blends into his hair nicely. Hardly noticeable and very small. 10. Volume control is very easy to adjust. 11. Sound quality is wonderful. He can hear water dripping. I love that he did this. He hears sounds he hasn’t heard for years, like the wind in the trees, birds, squirrels chirping and chattering. His friends, I know, feel lots better not having to repeat themselves. The thing is, hearing loss is a big deal for all humans. It isolates us, we feel left out, it can cause depression, loneliness and anger. I know he is extremely happy now being able to enjoy the beautiful sound of nature again. If I could have given 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would have. These easy to use and effective aides are worth every penny spent on them and more. Thank you!

Doc said I don't need hearing aids yet; but I could tell my hearing was not as good as it used to be. I spent over $2,000 USD on my wife's hearing aids and did not want to spend that much without a doctor's recommendation. I bought these on Amazon because they were very inexpensive and had decent reviews. I was definitely pleased with the results once I received them. I can't go without them now. I used them everyday. They last all day long and feel very comfortable. Well worth the price. Low frills but perfect for minor hearing loss.
