I use these in teaching adult ESOL. I can have them in several languages and English, and everyone can follow. Great reference for English speakers learning another language, too.

I bought this book so my wife can easily relate to everyday situations, as her English skills are rather modest at the moment. Reading this book, combined with everyday social interaction in the UK has given her enough confidence to start taking and always find a way to express her ideas. Refresher when going shopping, on a city trip, etc.

The book organizes language in a large number of subjects, giving words in English and Spanish. It is really good for helping someone work through vocabulary for a specific need. The words are given in both Spanish and English. There are sections where words are given in phrases, to help deal with specific usage. These are extremely helpful. These phrases are only given in English though. Saying this, I think the title of this book should highlight that this is for learning English. If you are learning Spanish, you can find vocabulary in this but you will not get the same value.

Multilingual is multi-talented!!! We have a new English as a Second language program at the High school, so we wanted some books for our other students to use to learn how to communicate.
