Moving to another state. Bought the "Heavy Duty" rod as I've a lot of clothes to carry. Rod was 1/3 full, and the rod hook that was hooked to the rear left ceiling door handle bent under the weight and the rod came tumbling down. Used the metal loop on the rod to hook onto the tiny door hanger hook. Got everything hung back up and the right side let go. Rod was only 1/3 full and, again, the clothes were on the left side (behind driver). I will be going to Wally World to get some nylon rope and I'll tie the rod to the handles. What a disappointment. The rod itself is "heavy duty". The hooking ends are weak. They didn't break, just bent and slid off the car door handles. I'll MacGyver a solution. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM unless you're only planning to hang a few (like 5) hangers on it, and then make sure they are short sleeved shirts. Very disappointed.

We recently moved and I was able to take 3 large loads of clothes to the new house on this bar, and I mean FULL of clothes. We were moving close to where we were, so we opted to move the clothes ourselves. It is extremely sturdy and I would not hesitate to order this again. The black (rubber) on it keeps clothes from sliding around and there are the dividers (circles) that will keep everything in sections. Terrific product. I love how it can be hung two different ways depending on your car. It can fit both of our cars with no problem because of this!

I bought this bar to put in my car when I was moving across the country and needed some clothes accessible. I was able to expand it or contract it to the length I needed, and it just hooked right on my "oh crap" handles in the back seat. I would buy again. I put a lot of clothes on there and the bar didn't bend or anything.

We do a lot of traveling in our car and we were looking for a sturdy clothes bar. (I hate folding my clothes to put them in a suitcase and come out wrinkled!) This bar is heavy duty, with it being expandable there was no problem with it fitting in our Sante Fe.

It's sturdy, it's easy to adjust, and the no-slip coating makes it perfect to be able to hang garments on without slipping, sliding, and/or bunching up. It's also a good deal.

I purchased this to transport a significant amount of clothes for donation to a charity. It’s very strong and held a lot of hangers. Most of the clothes were suits our coats and that handled it perfectly

Over the years I've had several clothes bars and this one is the best! Easy to use, very sturdy and rubber clad to reduce slippage of hangers.

This expandable clothes rod worked perfectly for us. It was easy to hang, held our clothes nicely in place due to the rubber configuration on the rod, and never slipped or moved during a long trip. You can pay more if you want but I don’t think you will get a rod that works any better than this one. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!
