Not much to say. It's totally fine. Does that mean it should be 5 stars? 3? I couldn't decide. Doesn't seem like there's too much better or worse a plastic wall plate could be. However, I need it, and it does what it's meant to do. It covers up the screw holes from my old thermostat and makes the install look a lot cleaner. Seems like maybe Nest could just include a small wall plate. Anyway, that's not the seller of this item's fault.

I’ve had a nest before and every single time I need to get one of these plates. Mostly because you really have no idea how the wall will look with the current thermostat you’re replacing. So I would just buy this so you’re not surprised.

This plate is great if the previous one being removed is large as well. This one covers more wall that the regular next plates and did the trick for me.

It works. But the quality of plastic seems average.
