Walter Benjamin is the sort of author whose works will make you stop and think as you read. This is his first collection of 'fiction' though that term is used with qualifications. The two introductions, including one by another great author, Greil Marcus, are worth the price of admission. Check out Mr Benjamin's other works, and also Jay Parini's novelisation of Benjamin's last days. Excellent.
