After splitting 3 cords of firewood the verdict is..............
Fantastic valve - replaced my leaking valve on a old Craftsman log splitter - the old valve did not have auto return but I lived with it. Now I can split almost twice as much in a sitting. The valve arrived quickly and well packaged. My splitter called for me to rotate the handle to have the ports pointing down, installation was a breeze and the Hydroworks valve is of high quality and works flawlessly. Highly Recommended

Reverse operation. UPDATE
Don't be fooled. This valve works in the opposite direction as most other valves on the market. If you follow manufacturers directions, when you push handle out(towards log) it retracts the cylinder. Pull it back and the cylinder goes out. UPDATE: After changing hoses, re-positioning the pivot on the handle, and spacing the valve up off of the mounting location, the valve is working as expected. The only downside is the literature included. One place it shows attaching hose one way, another the opposite. I think our American Distributors need a proof reader when purchasing foreign products. If instructions were better written, it would receive 5 stars.

Not bad for the price
Hooked it up per instructions and the detent was backwards, which makes the controls backwards. Not bad for the price and I am still able to make it work. Company eager to make any issues right. Will definetly do business with them again in the future.
