【Upgraded】JSAUX Stand Base for Steam Deck, Frosted Aluminum Alloy Playstand for Steam Deck, Anti-Slip Holder for Valve Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Switch, and Mobile Phones

It’s great for traveling or for a fast lunch break game session where you want a controller over being handheld. Only negative I have is that mine had extra dried glue that had got past the rubber anti slip pads.I use it for my steam deck and switch and works great to prop up while charging and downloading as well.

Super cheap and useful for both the Steamdeck but also pretty much anything that isn't super thick. Material is also solid which is a good thing to see instead of those cheap plastic stands.

So there's a big con with each stand. The folding one blocks a significant portion of the air intake vent (enough that the Deck can start overheating), and the aluminum one does not work well with thick cases (DLseego Steam Deck TPU Protective Case) making it seem like the Deck is going to topple over on it's face.The problem with the aluminum stand is it's just a little too tight for the Deck to easily lean back properly into it. The Deck sits better in the stand directly vertical, which is awkward and gives you the feeling it could easily fall on it's face. You can force it to lean back in the stand, but it takes pulling it back out and repositioning it with 2 hands. And it's so tight in both orientations it easily gets stuck to the Deck, so it takes 2 hands to separate, or when you pick up the Deck the stand comes with it, then falls off clanking back on the table.Problem with the folding stand as you can see in the pictures, it covers about 30-40% of the air intake vent. Even if you have AAA game paused and set the Deck down, this is enough to make it overheat. You can see how much the vent is covered when you shift the Deck over on the stand so that none of it is covered. It just barely holds up in the stand this way, and feels like it will fall over at any moment. (Another minor con, this stand just takes up more table real estate than the aluminum one.)I was able to modify both stands to fix this though. With the aluminum one I put it in a mini vice to open it up a little. It doesn't look much different, but it works exactly like it should now. The vice screw marred up the top a bit, so I put some fabric hockey tape over it and now I feel like it's even more cushion for the Deck.With the folding stand I took a dremel tool with a cutting wheel to it (which mostly just melts the plastic), and cleaned it up with a razor blade. I bet it's even sturdy enough to cut the slot completely out, but I think it looks nicer with the edge intact and it's still a huge improvement to the airflow this way.

I'll keep this simple - this is a quality, no frills stand base for the Steamdeck and other similarly shaped devices. It's strong, lightweight and looks nice. It fits the Steam Deck very snugly so I doubt it's compatible with many cases, although I don't have a case to test that with. I got it as part of a makeshift dock alongside a USB-C hub, and it functions wonderfully. I've also been using it to prop up my phone.You honestly get a quality product for what you pay, but case users should probably find a stand that specifically accommodates for the extra thickness.

I really like this stand and how it feels, but buyer beware. If you plan on having a case on your Steam Deck, then it will NOT work.Steam Deck:Fit like a glove without a case, kept the unit standing up at a good angle and felt stable. Put a case onto the Steam Deck however and the stand became useless as the JSAUX case prevented the Steam Deck from even sitting inside the stand. If you plan to have a case on your deck, then I recommend getting a case that has a kick stand. If you do not plan on getting a case and want to use it plain or with skins like DBRAND, then it will work really well.Maybe make the width of the stand wider and the rubber inserts removable so you could adjust the stand to work with and without cases (especially cases sold by the same company)Phone & Tablet:Does not fit as snug, but it was designed for the Steam Deck's dimensions. Other than that it did an OK job holding up a phone. I would be worried about a tablet toppling the stand over. The lip of the stand does not impede you from seeing your phone screen when in landscape mode.

For the price I was surprised how great this works, good quality and nice for traveling

Overall looks great, solid build, decent price but wouldn't buy again.Main issues with stand:-Doesn't work well with THIN silicone skin for Steam Deck. Ended up cutting off some padding stand so fit wasn't so tight.-I do not like the way the front of stand presses against front of Steam Deck. Doesn't cause a problem now but I feel it will over time as the screen seems to be holding most of the weight. In my opinion the Steam Deck should LEAN against the back, not be held up from the force of the front of the stand stopping the Steam Deck from FALLING backwards.

Nothing spectacular. It works pretty good.

Acheté en même temps que le steam deck, après quelques temps d'utilisations, je dois dire que je suis plutôt satisfait du résultat même si j'utilise principalement le côté recharge. Je trouve le cable pas très flexible pour le coup mais bon c'est bien dans l'ensemble. (et surtout moins cher que le dock off)

Praticamente è essenziale se utilizzate steamdeck, lo tengo sul comodino e direi che a livello estetico molto carino, poi utile anche per quando uso la connessione HDMI, se volete spendere un po' di più, jsaux fa una base come questa con hub usb, molto carina, consiglio

Quality is good, doesn't take up much space and doesn't get in the way.It does the job and holds both steam deck and rog ally comfortably.I have a usb c hub spare so thought I'd buy a better stand, basically use it as a makeshift dock.The steam deck and rog ally have great cooling capabilities with custom fan curves, so don't worry about spending extra on something with fans and so on this does the job for a budget of course if you want like a super clean set up then something with in build usb c hub would be great.

JSAUX si sta facendo un discreto nome nel campo degli accessori per Steam Deck, essendo una delle poche marche con buona proposta qui su Amazon Italia.Come gli altri prodotti, questo stand non tradisce sulla qualità: è sostanzialmente un blocco di alluminio con una piacevole finitura grigia, dotato di piedini di gomma e inserto protetto da uno spesso strato di gomma antiscivolo, per evitare segni sul vostro Steam Deck una volta riposto nello stand.L'inclinazione è perfetta e una volta posizionato, il Deck non si muove di una virgola.Allora perché 4 stelle e non 5? Per il prezzo un po' ballerino.Questo JSAUX è un semplice stand, senza porte USB o di ricarica. Non giustifica quindi, a mio avviso, il costo eccessivo di 20€ a cui viene spesso proposto.Ho visto variazioni alquanti frequenti, dagli 11 ai 20€, e vi consiglio di aspettare per acquistarlo a un prezzo più ragionevole.

While originally bought for my Steam deck I've found these to be excellent custom keyboard holders.Even my Q1 at close to 2kg is no problem for one of these stands in conjunction with a few dabs of blu tack.Highly recommended!
