I am impressed.
I needed something thicker than multipurpose paint paper that could store well, and this really fits the bill. The pages are flexible and yes, if you mash them up they could wrinkle or bend, but handling them with normal care will keep them from denting. I use painter's tape to keep them on my paint surface and it doesn't sag or warp with multiple layers of very wet acrylic paint. I did notice that when removing them from the pad, some of them had mild shredding around the edges, but that wasn't an issue for me since I plan to cut them down to 8X10" anyway. The surface is rubbery so I primed them with a thin layer of acrylic paint before starting and it helped the paint adhere nicely with no flaking or lifting.Pros:-Cheap-Durable surface, does not warp on contact with water-Perfect alternative to multipurpose paint paper-Easy to store-Easy to mount and frameCons:-Mild damage to some of the edges of the canvas-Not a lot of size options-Medium tooth canvas, you may want something finer for smaller detailOverall I would recommend. I plan on buying again.

Cotton canvas sheets..
I was expecting paper but was pleasantly surprised that they are cotton canvas sheets. I've taken one out and clipped it to my Easel and I've painted leaving it in the pad. Both ways work wonderful. Does not bleed thru even with multiple layers. I would recommend these to anyone looking for this type of pad.

Not paper! CANVAS!
These aren’t made of paper but with canvas! Well worth the money! I will definitely buy these for the foreseeable future as long as the price remains consistent.

Great value for price
I love these. I can paint on canvas on my table top without the bulk of using an easel or canvas board. The results I have has have been great. I would recommend these for a beginner artist or an artist who wants to create a study for a larger piece. They are great for testing new paint and playing with mixed media.

Dimensions not reliable!
The quality of this product is good and it's a good value for the price. HOWEVER! The sheets are not always EXACTLY 8 x 10. The last pad I ordered was more like 7 7/8" x 9 3/4". This may seem trivial, but I mount finished artwork on an MDF board that's cut exactly to 8 x 10 standard size, so there was a 1/8" uncovered space on the finished piece. This means that I can't frame the piece in a floater frame, as I had planned. I'm very unhappy. How difficult would it be to quality control this product and make sure it's exactly the dimensions advertised!?

Not great as easel pad
I bought this to put up on an easel. It's not the greatest for that. The paper is of good quality. I'm no professional. However the top binding of the pad came apart very quickly when set up against an easel with the pad cover behind. Made it basically useless against an easel as it kept falling all over and slumping down. I don't know if my easel is too small or the pad is ineffective. However, when I lay it flat - although it's very large sized which makes doing it on a flat surface harder in general - it worked well for that. Pulled off to display my finished art nicely. No bleeding through.

Great product, terrible packaging
This is a great product, and the canvas seems to be high enough quality that I'll be able to frame the finished works. However, it came in a white plastic shipping bag with absolutely no corner protection, so both pads had badly damaged corners. I was going to return the products, but I realized I didn't have time to wait for the product to ship back and for another product to ship in, and I thought it was unlikely that I would receive a product that was packaged any better, so I had to use the paper with the damaged corners. Just some cardboard attached to the corners would have prevented them from being ruined...

Works well...price is right
I use pads like this for color studies. Should I like the study, it's easy enough to frame the work. I usually tape the paper to a cradled birch panel I've covered with enamel paint. That way if I go "outside the lines" I can easily wipe away any excess. I like to use a 1/4" border with the tape because the mat will cover the edge. Very satisfied!
