Buf-Puf Body Sponge, Bath Sponge, Dermatologist Developed, Cleanses Skin of Dirt, and Excess Oil, Reusable, Exfoliating, 1 Count

I used to use the facial Buf Puf when I was a teen sooo long ago lol. Although I use other brands (bc you get a lot of sponges for a few more dollars), I decided to treat myself to the Original. When I saw this Body Buf Puf while searching for the facial one, I thought "why not?" I am so glad I bought it bc I LOVE the size, quality and the 2 different coarseness; the aqua side is coarser for elbows etc. It is thick, densely woven and lathers much better than a wash cloth or those other plasticy, nylon, flower looking things on a string. Imo, Buf Puf is more effective in exfoliating the skin, which preps it for receiving the full benefits of a moisturizer. It cost a little more than I expected, but the quality is SO much better, I will continue to purchase it to supplement my other brand sponges that go flat more quickly.

I’ve been using a Buff-Puff to wash my face since I was a kid and I’m a fairly old guy, now. When I was younger, I had some acne issues and always tried my best to take care of my skin. I liked the rough-ish surface of the Buff-Puff, the nice exfoliating factor, and it left my skin feeling cleaner than your standard washcloth. For me, once I went “buf-puff” there was no turning back to the washcloth. However, it might not be for everyone. I’m sure some prefer the washcloth. Now I’m an older man. I still prefer the Buff-Puff over its alternatives. I don’t have any acne issues anymore, but I still like the exfoliation benefits and how clean my face feels after use. For the reasons stated I can recommend, at minimum, trying a buff-puff with your favorite soap for a clean feeling face.

I’ve been searching for a better loofah but a few years when a similar product I used to buy was no longer available. I tried many products. By far this is the best! The scrubbing side is very aggressive (which one can control with pressure to a point.) The less aggressive other side I do not use. In fact this product for me was superior to sugar scrubs which I sometimes use as it is less messy and easier to travel with (and can be less expensive than store-bought scrubs.) No loofah type product lasts forever but this one seems to last a month or more used 2-3 times very hard per week. The performance degrades like all products but it does not shed like some that I tried. Another great feature is its drying time. Most other loofah type products stay wet for too long which I don’t like as I travel. Squeezing this out rendered it nearly dry, and travel ready after a day on the counter. I also squeeze it out with a towel or tissues wrapped around it before packing it in a ziplock for travel. I am considering cutting it in half as it’s generously sized. I can use on my face with very light pressure and it does a great job keeping my neck clear of shaving bumps. Its made in the USA.

Just the right amount of scrub without being too harsh or irritating to my skin. It is perfect for exfoliating without skin irritation. It absorbs the soap easily and makes a very thick lather that is much better than regular wash towels. The size makes it effective for full body wash and the price can not be beat for the quality for the price so they can be replaced regularly without breaking the bank!

THIS along with some inexpensive lotions and creams on Amazon, has made the crepey skin on my inner (almost 70 yr old arms) about 75% BETTER and smoother! PROS; TWO SIDES FOR VARYING EXFOLIATION - I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN. What I LOVE about this BUF PUF is I can CONTROL the exfoliation. I can use the WHITE side, GENTLY, for my face and neck and the BLUE side for my legs, arms, elbows, knees. YOU control how light or strong you want to exfoliate. RESULTS! - WOW. I just add a bit of BABY DOVE SENSITIVE MOISTURE (like I said, SENSITIVE SKIN!) to the BLUE side for my legs, elbows, even my arms. The LIGHTER I scrub, the less irritating, if you have skin that is NOT so delicate, you obviously can vary how hard you scrub. SMOOOOOOTH SKIN! - I use this on my legs before shaving, with a gentle soap, I don't need to scrub hard at all. GETS RID of dead skin (and as we age, skin doesn't "turn over" as quickly) and gives me an AMAZING shave. I ALWAYS add my favorite lotion afterward and seriously, legs and arms feel like BABY SKIN! SIZE - I LOVE the size. Granted, I don't have really big hands, but it's the PERFECT size for me to hang on to and cover enough area. DURABILITY - I CAN make this last 8 weeks easily, BUT I make sure to disinfect it. I don't just rinse it out, but USE REALLY hot water, squeeze and use clippies to hang it up (you can use a hangar that has clips for pants and just hang on the shower rod.) COST - DEFINITELY worth it. I paid four bucks and change for this. A GOOD price, but even at double, I would buy this. FIVE OUT OF FIVE. WOULD RATE HIGHER IF I COULD! THIS is one of my FAVORITE HEALTH/BEAUTY TOOLS!

I purchased this Buf‑Puf thinking it would simply remove dead skin. What I did not anticipate was that it would also remove emotional baggage, outdated grudges, and at least three intrusive thoughts that had been living rent‑free since 2014. The texture is… assertive. Not painful, not gentle — just the exact level of exfoliation you’d expect from a sponge that has seen things. The first time I used it, I swear it whispered “brace yourself” in a voice only my soul could hear. I emerged from the shower feeling like a freshly peeled grape with a renewed sense of purpose and a slightly concerning amount of confidence. My only warning: do not use this Buf‑Puf on a day when you are already feeling vulnerable. It will exfoliate you physically and spiritually, and you may find yourself making life decisions you are not prepared for. 10/10. Would let it judge me again.
