I've had mine for a few years now, I really like it. The quality of the gear seems correct and I've been through a number of EMT and first responder courses with it and the instructors all seemed to be satisfied with it. Its better then what I had in the Marines but that's not saying much.

First things first. The decompression need is illegal to sell to people who are not licensed or certified to use them. And it is illegal for non-professionals to use them. As a Paramedic I'm certified and allowed to own/use these. However, nowhere in the purchase of this was it requested to see my credentials as it would be required be in order to buy it through NAR. So that's a big red flag. Second, the MOLLE webbing is unusable. It's got a gap at the top, then 2 webs, then a gap, then one web. So to weave it would go to the pack first, then the top web of the pouch, then to the pack, then there is a gap where it is supposed to go to the pouch again... So, too many red flags for me to recommend.

The contents of the kit do not fit inside the bag that is provided. This is very sad, I should have just bought a refill kit for half the money. I feel that this is a rip off at over a hundred dollars, seeing that the contents do not come close to all fitting inside the bag provided. Even if the contents fit inside the bag, the zippers lack quality and catch every time the bag is opened. This would be crucial to work properly out in the field without snagging.

Zippers keep popping open after zipping half way up , everything feels cheap , doesnt seem to be the real deal , i would be afraid to use it in an emergency , the cat tourniquet is a knock off tourniquet , only thing useful and seems real is the emt shears

Good quality gear ..i wish there had been a bigger bag to add stuff ..but that is my fault ..otherwise its a great kit for a car to just leave in the trunk and forget about ..just in case

I found the kit to be adequately stocked, I would preferred a bit more. That being said there is no room to add anything to the kit as the bag is a bit small. For an additional $20 - $30 you can build a better kit.

The bag is not big enough to pack everything in an organized manner (from a field medic’s perspective).
