Exactly as advertised!
Fan is exactly as advertised! Works awesome! For it's small size it puts out an amazing amount of air. Couldn't be happier with the product. There was no paperwork at all with the product. Although directions aren't needed, it's quite obvious how to assemble and operate, I wish there were specifications documented. I have noticed that if you are not getting good current to the motor, (bad contact, weak battery charge, etc.) It does run noiser. I don't see that as a problem but a indicator that you have a problem to address. The alligator clips could be larger to make a solid conection. I would fix this but I bought the warranty and I don't want to alter it.

Works well in our gazebo, but noise is an issue.
Very good option for under $40, considering the price of 110v hanging gazebo fans. It seems to vibrate and hum loudly when theres any type of opposing breeze, which makes my metal gazebo buzz, noticeable but not annoying or intrusive. Might be different on a quiet night. 15w draw is minimal, but made a very noticeable increase in air movement over my smaller 16" one. I ran this to 40ah of Lifepo batteries and an ecoworthy 25w panel setup. Id recommend manufacturer to make a longer cord and an adjustable controller as a worthwhile update, maybe even a larger size as well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PFGP0EA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Very good investment
This provides a very nice breeze under our pergola by the pool. The only downside is that I have to take it down when there is the threat of rain as it’s not waterproof. But, it is easy to put up and down. The wire running from it is about 10 feet long so it can wrap around the top of the pergola and then reach the ground. It’s not long enough to wrap around the side post of the pergola, though. The wire just hangs straight down. The included 12-volt battery lasts about 10 hours and takes about 3-4 hours to recharge. It has been a good investment overall.

Stopped working after just two uses.
I got this to put under our shelter separate from the house so I could have some cool air during the hot summers when I'm working outside. Fan worked great the first two times. Then the motor just buzzed loudly and would not more the blades. Waste of time and money, I get it's $30, but in reality the quality and value is about $5.

Nice fan for the cost
Good value, stirs air great but very noisy.

Works for me
So far so good. Has been working for 4 months with no issues. Makes some noise, but it is tolerable for me to sleep with it on. I hooked it up to a rocker switch so I could turn it on and off at my leisure. Hung it on my bedroom ceiling and attached it to a board to stabilize it from the force of the spin. I have used smaller fans not attached to a board for stabilization, just hung from a hook, and had to hand-start them because of that. So far it works for me and I am very happy.

Works, but VERY noisy for the amount of air it moves
Bought this fan to replace the version we bought last year to go under our gazebo. It stays outside, so generally they don't last through the season but that's fine with me - no deduction in stars for durability - if you had this inside or brought it inside when the weather was bad, I would imagine it will last a while. What I was very unhappy with, was the amount of noise this specific model makes for the amount of air it moves. The old fan we had was very quiet - all you could really hear was the air moving from the fan blades. This thing is audible from 15+ feet away, almost to the point where you need to talk over it. I could never imagine sleeping under this thing so thank god we're not using it in an RV/camping situation. All in all, look for another fan. The smaller version we bought last year was much quieter, and it moved more air.

Love this simple and hardworking fan!
Good quality 12v fan. I installed it as a ceiling fan with a solar panel and batteries. It creates an excellent air flow and is very dependable. It is the perfect solution for structures without available electricity.

Bought2 of these to try out in our off grid rental cabins. The clients loved then so much I ordered more for the larger cabins as well. They work well and really move the air. I don’t know how we did without them. A bit of white noise while they are running. But our clients appear to like that as well.

Used it with a 12 volt, off grid system to move air in my wife's "she-shed". It moves air well enough and is not overly loud. Would have gotten 5 stars if it was just a titch quieter and if it didn't wobble (ie: better balance). I'm going to try to figure out which is the heavy side and which is the lighter side, and gorilla tape a washer or 2 on the hidden side to balance it out. Should be fine then. dj

Très pratique

Cheaply made and won’t last. Annoying clicking sound as blade rotates. Not smooth operating. It’s going back immediately.

Bruyant et non pas aimé mais pas le choix de la garder car je l’ai pas essayé tout de suite.
