and I think this is the best backpack I've ever had
I have owned this backpack for 4 years now, and I think this is the best backpack I've ever had.One thing I love about it is its lightness; I hate when the weight of your backpack adds up to all the stuff you are carrying in it and it becomes a torment to walk a couple of blocks (I walk a lot with my backpack on). I also like very much its size. This is a small backpack, I usually carry around my 13'' laptop, a couple of notebooks, and my hoodie in the main compartment, and use the smaller front pocket for a different variety of smaller items including sunglasses, iPod, cereal bars; this does not completely fill it, but it is close. Also, the two side mesh pouches are awesome! Sometimes I bring 1L of water AND 1L of coffee, but usually I have a bottle in one side, and a couple of small umbrellas and a small flashlight on the other side. Well, I have even used the side pockets to bring a couple of bottles of wine to a dinner. The quality is amazing, after four years (using it around 250 days a year) every part of it stills works perfectly. Yes, there are some points showing a bit of wear but it is a very very good shape. The back padding and the straps are very comfortable and the sternum support does a really good job and let your shoulders rest. Also, there are a lot of adjustments you can perform to make it a perfect fit. As I mentioned, I do a lot of walking and this is probably the most comfortable backpack I've walked with.On top of it, it looks great! I own the black one and recently got the foliage for my wife :DI would absolutely recommend the Pygmy Falcon-II for anyone looking for a small, lightweight and versatile backpack.

Great commute backpack. Extreme quality!
Great small pack for commuting, lightweight traveling, or day hiking. After seven years with my last backpack (Victorinox) the zippers finally gave out and it was time for a new pack. I use my backpacks mostly for everyday commuting back and forth to work, as well as short trips, so I like my packs to be small, slimline, and durable. This pack is awesome! The materials are head and shoulders above any other pack I've used, and the manufacturing is top notch. Great stitching and high quality straps and plastic bits. In terms of size, it is ideal for commuting - nice and compact. For traveling, if you can make the size work, its great. Slips under airline seats easily, and the main pocket zips all the way down to the bottom, so it can open like a suitcase. Makes taking full advantage of the space available easy. Molle webbing is handy for attaching random items you'd like to have with you. Water bottle pockets are extremely generous in size. For hiking, the back and shoulder pads are great and are nicely vented for breathability.Downsides - I don't really have use for the compression strap. Easy to remove and you can just throw it in the pack in case you ever do need it. Also with this model (as compared to the standard Falcon pack), because there is no lower outside compartment - just the elastic - the pack tends to tip backward if the main pocket isn't heavily weighted, which is kind of annoying. Also related to the elastic, the length is on the short side so larger items (like a jacket) are a little tough to slip in. I bought a longer piece of elastic and reused the plastic fitting.Overall, I've very pleased with this backpack. Based on the lifespan of my previous backpack, which was good quality, but nowhere near this level, I'd say this might be the last pack I'll buy! (at least in this size!)

Fantastic product!
A note first: I have several bug out bags, the largest of which is more a 'grab it all' over-weighted backpack. I can pick it up and throw it in my jeep but I would not be able to wear it very long on foot. It's more designed to have it all, take off, and sort the weight out later on for what ever purpose presents and when time avails. After research and consideration I decided I should have an every day carry bag. Something good for a long walk and a days worth shelter, food, first aid, fire-making, and defense. In this case I wanted a smaller light-to-medium load out backpack. There are many youtube reviews for this pack, so I won't make my own. The coolest thing about the pack is the very HEAVY DUTY grab handle atop the product. I have high confidence that it will not tear out even under extreme duress. Second is how the main compartment unzips on three sides allowing it to open up like a suitcase giving instant access to everything in the main compartment. In an emergency it only takes seconds to dump out the main compartments' contents because of this feature. Third is the reinforced bottom that keeps the pack safe from wear and rough handling. There is plenty of room in the secondary compartment for a single large MRE still in the vacuum pack (that extra air takes up space and I don't want to deflate it), raman noodles, a few energy bars, and several other foodstuffs with left over space for some more gear. In fact you can cram in 2 MREs if you really want to. The outer compartment is great for you immediate needs resources like flashlights, knives, binoculars, signaling mirror and whistle. The base of the pack has a single double duty plate of flexible plastic to keep the pack dry and protect its sitting position on any surface. And finally, the side water bottle pouches (for lack of a better term) have reinforced bottoms with a solid material preventing small things from falling through as well as protection for both the contents therein and the out side of the pouch itself. One thing you will notice are the criss-crossed tie downs at the bottom of the pack. They are bungee cord material and kinda useless for anything larger than a bottle of water... My Nalgene didn't want to fit there. So I kept the spring hasps threw away the bungee cord and replaced it with six feet of paracord so I could store a schemag there.

Very durable and carrys the weight perfectly between my shoulders.
Super sturdy as with all Maxipedtion products. I wear it bike riding and I get asked a lot if I'm in the military. I own a ton of army bags both cheap and expensive. I love this line the best. The straps are probably the best part. They distribute the weight evenly, breathable and is very durable. They don't spin or cut into my shoulders like other cheap packs. I hang a lot of stuff on it. It's perfect!

Me encanta
