Cute set!

Bought this for my niece for Christmas. It comes assembled which is great. She likes to pretend she's a hairdresser. Needless to say, she loved it. Blow dryer sounds like the real thing.

It’s cute. The shelves don’t stay on when open. The music is really loud. My daughter likes it.

My 4 year old granddaughter feels like she’s a Queen! Many points were made with her. Granny for the win.

My daughter has been obsessed with this for months. She does all of our hair all the time. She loves the blowdryer that actually blows, the clippers sound like clippers, the flat iron glows red…. It’s a very cute set, super worth it.

The idea of this is good, but the actual product is not great. First off the Cons: some of the hair tools broke within 2 days, I first assumed that it was maybe just from kid use, and did not think that was a deal breaker. The curlers are so hard and tight to use for dolls let alone if a kid was using it on themselves. The earnings have the same issue, they don't even seem to be able to work on a doll let alone a kid. The worst/most annoying things about this item are the white trays and the gold legs. The white trays that are supposed to attach to the side of the vanity are so difficult to line up and push on, it is almost impossible for them to stay in place once you finally get them on and they do not even line up as pictured, very odd. Additionally, the legs do not open up and stand like pictured. Ours opens up and is pushed out to the side almost all the way out, to the point where the bottom of the vanity is like a 1/4inch from the ground. Then then 2 days after the return window closed a plastic piece holding one of the bottom legs broke off, so now one leg is not even attached. To be fair there are some pros: Some of the hair tools are good, the hair dryer blows air, and the straightener lights up red, which is cool. I loved the idea that everything can be stored in the unit and that the latch is strong. But the quality of the unit itself was just so horrible that now its not useable at all, which again is a bummer because it is cute and my daughter liked it, but now its trash.

Perfect for Grandma's house! Great to store things compactly while kids are no there. BUT mine has floppy legs that won't stand. It does not light up around the mirror or play music as was stated. My batteries are brand new. After examining, I see the problem, but it was assembled poorly. Batteries don't line up with the posts. Makes me sad. Too much trouble to return, so we will make do. Others obviously worked from reading the reviews. I was not so lucky.
