The media could not be loaded.  So if you’re like me I discovered these sand timer hour glass at a store called HomeGoods and I immediately fell in love with the whole concept. I immediately bought it, thinking up how it’ll improve my focus etc. there was still some pause on my end because if you were a homegoods junkie like I was before you eventually find out that EVERYTHING in their store falls apart very fast and I mean lighting quick. So even though I had that feeling about their hourglass I still purchased it. Trusting your intuition is a great thing because if I had done so I wouldn’t have been out of 26 dollars. That thing broke within 3 days.Now this one from Amazon is a true gem. You can tell immediately that it’s the real deal. It’s lightweight but constructed strong. The consistency of the hour mark is on point. It never acts funny like all of a sudden it’s only 40 mins. It’s always an hour. I would use this as my permanent timer if it was convenient to carry.There is no cons at all.

Have yet to time the accuracy of the sand yet, but it looks and feels like a quality piece. It's worth it to me. Looks very nice on desk.

This piece is very delicate and in reality is above my expectations. I love it.

I originally got this as a cute decor for game night but have since used it as a fun teaching tool for my children and how long they have for chores or home work or TV time. They really get excited by keeping track. It is a tad more fragile than I would have expected. The side are light and it doesn't have the heft you expect. But so far it has held up pretty well. Good purchase.
