A little knowledge goes a long way ;-)
Verdict is still out on this product. I feel as if we do not get as many pages out of this as we should (replaced the cartridge with a PSR in September and it only lasted until December with what I consider to be light use. BUT this may be the result of the toner starting to "cake" inside the cartridge as the result of shipment and storage. I shake it, but maybe I do not shake it hard enough. Make sure you shake very well prior to placing the cartridge in the printer, and hopefully you will have better luck.Update: Prints got light, so I shook the cartridge rather vigorously (best to do it outside away from white vehicles) and the prints looked perfect. Note, per P.S.R. (see below), shake only side-to-side, not front-to-back; I almost ruined a white shirt doing this. :-/Update: Just received a phone call from Clint from P.S.R. Very courteous and eager to help me out with the product. He informed me that there is a way to determine the number of pages being printed per cartridge. On our printer, depressing the green "play" button will print out a statistics sheet (actually, 4 sheets). Third sheet indicates amount of remaining toner. Fourth sheet relays the number of sheets that have been printed on the current cartridge. Very useful information. Gave me additional tips on cartridge care, including how to properly shake the cartridge to loosen the toner. Very happy with P.S.R. and their product.

One Print, One Page.
I purchased this cartridge over others' because 1) the printer is an older printer and I didn't feel like spending a lot of money buying a brand new Lexmark cartridge when I've had good luck with remanufactered cartridges in the past. 2) I didn't feel like really cheaping out and getting the cheapest remanufactured cartridge on the market, so this is relatively inexpensive but not as low as you can go.I was happy to see the new cartridge arrive at my doorstep and when I opened the box, it was wrapped up like any other toner cartridge, sealed in a black bag with air cushions on the sides. No big deal. When I open the black bag, what did I see (see photo)? The business-end of the cartridge was wrapped in grey shipping foam. To protect the cartridge? I guess, but the evidence that this/these cartridges leak is profound. My guess is the foam was put in there to control the mess during storage, handling and transport. I could be wrong. What's your guess?Alright, well, because I needed the cartridge, I installed the new roller, then the cartridge. The printer warmed up, did it's thing and gave me the READY light. Cool. I opened up a PDF and hit print. The printer made all the usual printer noises and spit out a page. It wasn't a perfect print, but I could understand if it takes a couple pages to settle the toner and what not. I hit print again and... nothing. No noises or anything. After a few days of troubleshooting the printer and praying that my printer didn't just DIE. I inserted an old cartridge and it printed just fine. Either the mechanics on the cartridge got stuck or the electronics (yes, there are electronics on toner cartridges) went haywire and sending bad signals to the printer. This cartridge is rated at 3500-pages. I got... one (1). Wrap it up. It's going back. I'm not even keeping it as a paper-weight. Your mileage might differ, but this is my experience. If I have time and don't have critical jobs to push out, perhaps I'll try this again and maybe my next experience would be better, but however, until such a time, I call this poor quality control. If you're looking for an inexpensive alternative to expensive NEW OEM cartridges, there are cheaper ones that may be better than this 1-page-wonder.

You've got a repeat customer here!
I was a little skeptical, but I decided that I had to replace the cartridge either way, so why not give this a try?It shipped quickly, and the packaging was thoughtfully constructed to make for a super easy return AND the return label is right inside the box.Popped it in my printer and it's working like a charm.I really appreciate this product, because nobody provides the toner for my classroom printer--it's all on me--and full-price toner cartridges just aren't going to cut it for my budget.Great product. When I need to replace my cartridge again, I will definitely be using this service!

Repeat for years now - excellent products. Ironically
I have used Print, Save, Repeat for years now - excellent products. Ironically, this order was actually a "dud" and didn't print correctly (making a line across the paper). However, I called PSR tech support and they immediately sent me out a replacement with a label to return the one that didn't work just right. The reason for 5 stars is the fact that I have ordered many toners from them - all great. And while this one was a dud, their customer service was great in handling it. Nobody's perfect - but stepping up and correcting the problem in an efficient manner is what I look for.Note: if you are going to be buying used toner cartridges in general, always order your next one in advance of when you will need it (especially if not ordering from PSR). I have gotten several duds from other companies in the past, so having a backup ready to go (and tested) eliminates the problem of being without toner for a few days while a new one gets shipped out.And no - I am not a PSR rep., just a happy customer.

cartridge print volume not up to spec. :(
I have now tried several manufacturers of alternate (replacement) toner for the Lexmark E260dn. As a positive, with this particular vendor, the print quality is good .... although over time, you will need to remove the cartridge and shake it to redistribute toner powder inside. The negative: the cartridge does not meet the 3500 page volume qty specified by the vendor. So it is a trade-off .... You get a good quality print at a cheaper price, but you will need to replace the cartridge well before 3500 pages. Over time, I suspect you will pay about the same (for 2 toners) as if you bought the Lexmark brand OEM cartridge (... assuming you can find the OEM cartridge for a reasonable price!).
