Q: How long is the shoulder strap? It looks pretty short

The strap when extended to its full length is 117cm. It can of course be shortened to half that length if desired.

It depends what type of ticket you have booked if you have booked 10kg plus a bag then yes but if not then no

I only took delivery of this bag this morning and I am sorry to say your required strap is not there. It is only about 23cm across the back and very light and I must say I am very pleased with my buy. If the size meets your approval then go for it

I too have a 15.6inch laptop and yes you can fit it in the bag, but only diagonally across the main compartment. You then have to fit anything else in around it. What i also found was that on the first trip the laptop seemed too heavy for the seams of the bag and it split slightly in one corner. Easy to sew up, but not good for it's first trip. I guess it may depend on how heavy your laptop is.
