Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax. Good enough for high voltage line insulators, good enough for my vehicles!I've used this product for thirty years. Not easy to find locally. It was orginally manufactured in Utica, New York for the electrical industry. They use if on the white chain of insulators on the hight tension lines you see crossing the countryside. This wax repels dirt very well and prevents flashover of high voltages.Here is where your vehicle comes in...the same slippery substance repels dirt and water. I've never seen a rain droplet stand so tall on the hood of my car! Collinite also makes a prewax product, that is equally impressive, for removing any old wax and grime down to paint.Awesome products! One wax application goes on super easy and lasts me all year!

I have completely waxed 5 cars while using less than half of an entire bottle of the wax. I'm not shy with the application, either; I really slather it on.My ultimate test for the wax was how it would hold up on my mom's sedan during a 7,000 mile road trip. The car came back filthy, with bugs splattered all over the front and having driven through several rain storms. With a careful wash and a little bit of claying to remove the bugs, the Collinite still beaded the water beautifully. With the soft soap I use in a foam gun, this product will survive for several months of normal use if it can survive 7,000 miles in just over a month. I am very very happy with it.

Works well on gel coat but doesn't last very long in the sun.

Excellent wax. I use a poli coat sealer prior to waxing. Gives my fleck paint a depth of shine. I do not garage my vehicle as much as I’d like to. This wax keeps it looking good. Set the bottle in the sun before you start. Warm product goes on easily and wipes off easily. In the winter I wrap the bottle in a heating pad even though I’m working in the garage. Helps my car slough off snow and ice. I use this 3x a year on both cars. A little goes a long way.

I have been using Collinite # 845 for forty years. This wax is only a wax. No cleaners or polish in it. It will last a couple of months giving you a shine and easy washes. It's great Try it. you'll be impressed.

Been using this product for years on my autos. The wax last about six months and really shines. The really nice thing about this wax is that it is easy to apply and easy to wipe off. I have never been disappointed withthis product. The price was right too.

I wish that the shine would last longer. It shines real good but doesn’t last but a few washes
